Kauhale Makai (Village by the Sea) is paradise defined. This 2 bd/2 ba condo was stripped to the core and fully remodeled this year. The brand new kitchen has granite countertops with top of the line appliances. The bedrooms and bathrooms are beautifully appointed to make your stay as perfect as possible.


This fourth floor condo has fantastic ocean views from the bedroom, kitchen, living room and lanai. Relax on the lanai while watching the palms trees wave in the breeze and the whales and windsurfers dance on the sparkling ocean.

The Kauhale Makai resort includes a beautifully tiled pool, jacuzzi, kiddy pool, putting green, shuffle board, and volleyball court. Our guests are welcome to use the free public tennis courts located steps south of the condo. There is nothing between the resort and the beach except for a large grassy area sprinkled with palm trees - no road to cross!

Also included is free high speed internet access!!! A king-size bed in the master bedroom, 2 twin beds (convertible to king) in the second bedroom and a Queen sleeper sofa are available for a total of 6 guests. Additionally, there are no stairs to climb... Two elevators service all six floors of the complex. We are very lucky to have central air conditioning in the unit. Nearly all other condos in north Kihei do not offer central air!

Walk along the beach to downtown Kihei for shopping and restaurants, or to the Pacific Whale Foundation's outpost for viewing whales in season (mid December to mid May). Less then ten miles to Kahului airport. Central to most everything on the island of Maui including all the best beaches.

NOTE: BUILDING CONSTRUCTION:

During 2017/2018 timeframe, there will be building construction work occurring at the complex. The work will be taking place M – F from 8:00a – 5:00p and noise may occur. There are 2 buildings in the complex and depending on the work schedule it may or may not entail noise and equipment near our condo. All work will be done on the exterior of the buildings. The facilities will remain open during this time.

Rates have been discounted to reflect the construction noise and disruption.

Everything was easy about this rental. Owner would even responding quickly over text with answers to my questions. Master bathroom is newly remodeled and the whole building was nicely taken care of. Would highly recommend!

Great communication with owner. Beautiful property! Perfect location. We had wild children and the field in front of the beach was a perfect area for them to run in. The place is quiet and centrally located. The unit itself is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. We were comfortable with our family of five. I would definitely stay here again. 5 stars!

It was a fine condo. location was meh . beds were uncomfortable . Lots of chairs umbrellas boggie boards and towel which was a plus. Did not use the pool
