The Artists House, Permit # STLA 2017/0002 is a home away from home with the comfortable furnishings and great amenities. The fabulous Lana'i sunsets can be enjoyed outside on the deck where there is glass dining room table with 6 chairs and bbq to enjoy. There are two bedrooms, one comfortable king bed in the master bedroom which has a joined master bathroom and a comfortable queen bed in other bedroom. The living room has a sofa bed with a queen temper-pedic mattress and a single futon bed which is used as a loveseat as well if needed. There are two bathrooms, one with a jet tub and the other with a double head shower. There is an on-demand hot water heater so, there will always be hot water! There is an outdoor shower after the beach or just to be in the Lana'i Hawaiian air. No need to bring too many clothes as there is an LG washer and dryer that is top notch! The Artist's home is a fully renovated double insulated plantation home from the 1930's that will give you the feel of being back in time and yet, with all the amenities of comfort such as granite countertops, dishwasher, specialty wood floor, fans, etc . This home is owned and was fully renovated in 2009 by Jordanne, who started her fine art painting career in 2002 on Lana'i and now lives on Maui as a successful painter. Jordanne opened a one-woman Gallery called the Jordanne Gallery in Makawao, Maui in 2009. She resides in Maui with her husband and 2 young children. Her early artwork is on the walls of The Artists House and creates a lovely feeling of plantation life ambiance. She has used the actual pineapple grass and bamboo from Lana'i to create a beautiful subtle mural. You can swim at Manele Bay, play tennis, golf, attend free water aerobics at the local heated pool, hike the Munroe Trail, drive to different parts of the island such as Polihua Beach, Shipwreck Beach, Garden of The Gods, and then come home and enjoy the rest of the evening in the QUIET area of town at the Artists home. Lana’i is known for the roosters and they will crow at all hours of the day and night - Jordanne needed her own oasis where the crowing of roosters wouldn’t hinder her own living experience on Lana’i, so, she created this oasis. The location can’t be explained enough (worth any extra monies) as other rentals are based in the center of town where the roosters can be heard. This is a nice quiet place near the city center. Perfect for hosting a family that wants to relax and explore. The host was easy to communicate with and had great suggestions for enjoying the island. Our only regret is that we couldn't say longer. We plan to be back to get to the things we didn't have time for this time around.

We stayed at Artist House for a few days on a family vacation. It was perfect in every way! It started from the moment I found the listing on VRBO and easily made the reservation. The host, Rosanne, welcomed us right away, and provided amazing hospitality throughout the planning and stay. The Artist House was inviting, clean, comfortable, equipped with a great kitchen & barbeque, and close to everything on the island. It provided exactly what we were looking for - a beautiful, serene place to rest and rejuvenate! I must comment again on Rosanne's hospitality. She answered our messages right away, and was the perfect host. She shared some special places to visit and dine while we were on the island, and her suggestions were always spot on. Mahalo, Rosanne. We appreciate everything you did to make our vacation a memorable one!

Throughly enjoyed out stay at The Artist House. All info was as described. Cutest little bungalow! You could sleep tons of guests in that place! It was only my husband and I but the place was perfect. Clean, centrally located and so stinkin cute! Communication with the host before our trip was excellent. There was absolutely nothing we needed to bother her for while we were there. Would highly recommend The Artist House for any visits!

This is the perfect house for a stay on Lanai for a few couples or a family! The house is in a quiet corner of Lanai City with quick car or walking access to the town or routes out of the city. This is the second place we've stayed on Lanai, and will be the place we come back to. The house is beautiful, comfortable, cozy, with everything you need to relax and enjoy what this island has to offer. Communication with the host was prompt and friendly, and everything was as described or better. The extras really show, with a lovely deck, well equiped kitchen, outdoor shower, comfortable seating area with a web-connected TV for the late nights. We cooked most meals and had the most relaxing time. We hope to be back soon!

We had a delightful stay and could not have wished for more! Thank you for giving our family the chance to visit Lanai. The other options would have been too cost-prohibitive, and we really appreciated being able to explore this lovely island together. We really look forward to another visit with you!
