Waikoko Beach is a quiet shaded shoreline at the western end of Hanalei Bay, known for picnic spots, bay views, limited swimming and surfing.
Located within Hanalei Bay, Waikoko Beach is easily accessible from the highway, but never crowded. One reason for this is that the swimming conditions are not that good here. The water is too choppy on most days because of too much wave action. However, there is plenty of shade on the beach, so it's a nice spot for a picnic.
