Truely a unique location- a tree house a few miles outside of Hanalei. Great beaches nearby, as well as all the shops and restaurants in Hanalei. The Tree House lived up to its name, we felt like we were sleeping in a tropical jungle with a babbling stream nearby and a canopy of tropical trees and plants. While the accommodations were amazing, the support from RE/MAX Kauai was tremendous. Like everyone else in Hawaii, we were directed to evacuate during a tsunami warning. Our property manager reached out immediately upon the evacuation notice and found temporary shelter for the night so we didn’t have to sleep in our car! With all the roads closed, evacuation orders in effect for so many areas, we greatly appreciated the support from RE/MAX Kauai and would use them for all future trips.
We loved our stay at the Treehouse. It was roomy, clean and comfortable for everyone in our family. The location is nice and secluded from the main road and about 10 minutes from Hanalei town which was convenient. The beaches nearby were breathtakingly beautiful. Note that the stairs are very steep so older family may have a harder time getting up to the house. The neighbor next door complained about us walking on his property though we were not aware that what we thought was a road was actually his driveway so make sure not to make this mistake because he's not very nice about it. Other than that it was a great stay.

A beautiful setting up on the north end. It had good access to beautiful hikes and beaches, and wasn't set right in the middle of tourists. The washer was not working for the duration of our stay which was something we were counting in when we packed, and the home lost power one night and into the morning, but overall the house was really nice and these are issues that I believe were only specific to our stay and the rental as a whole. I would recommend the Tree House for families wishing to experience Kauai with a unique home base. It was well cared for, and had plenty of room.

This property was perfect for our trip as we were looking for something away from the general throng of travelers and feel like we were on an island. That being said, it is not quiet, which we were prepared for. The local sounds of birds, most of which was lovely except the roosters in the early morning and the neighborhood dogs bark a lot. We were able to tune it out. We had a great time!

We had a great time at the Kauai Tree House. It was so fun to be tucked away on a private street surrounded by such beautiful landscape. It was nice to have the beach towels, chairs, and boogie boards to use. The kitchen had spices and oils to help with cooking which was super nice. The only thing that was hard is it is a little noisy. Dogs barking at night and chickens waking you up super early! Other than that it was great!

This air b&b was so comfy! With it's awesome enclosed porch where you can enjoy the croaks of frogs and tweets of birds, lovely kitchen with everything you need and super comfortable beds! The owners were super friendly and very accommodating! Would def rent again!
This house is beautiful and relaxing and is in the middle of luxurious nature,. It is close to Tunnel beach and Haena state park.
The only negative point is the noise from one of the very closeby bridges when the cars are passing by and from the roosters during the night. However, if you have good ear plugs it should allow you to sleep well. The beds are very comfortable and each room has its balcony..
We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful area!
