The property and location are perfect. We wanted a quiet, peaceful vacation and that is exactly what we got. The beauty of this property is difficult to put into words. We spent so much time on the lanai just in awe of the beauty. We walked to the beach each day and it was so nice to have chairs, umbrellas, and anything else you can think of! I can only hope we have the opportunity to return one day. I never wanted to leave!

The host was especially generous and cooperative with our plans. He went out of his way to work with me and VRBO to get the booking done after technical issues created some barriers. The home is a very nice and quaint set up with everything you need, especially AC. There were plenty of towels! We didn’t walk to the beach nearby because most of our plans were on other parts of the island. The location is fine but for us, it wasn’t ideal since our plans took us back to other parts of the island. So my one recommendation is to be aware of the travel time if you plan on island wide activities. One lovely benefit of the location is how dark it is and the wondrous amount of stars you can see with the naked eye. Amazing! The only disappointment was not seeing any of the animals that are typically on the neighboring property. Overall, wonderful host and home that I would highly recommend.

This was our second stay at the home. The environment is serene and peaceful inside and out. The backyard view is the big prize. Trust the photos. If anything they don’t fully capture the magic. The host is amazing. Very responsive and helpful. The kitchen is well equipped. Beds comfortable. Love the house design and soothing color scheme. Enjoyed walking to Tunnels Beach. Also enjoyed the Na Pali Coast hike, the sunset at Ke’e Beach, and exploring Secret Beach. The north side in general is visually stunning. Highly recommend.

The property is even prettier in person than in the photos. Very quiet and very clean as well. The house had everything we needed for our stay. We road the bikes provided to the park and followed the walking map to Tunnels Beach. The outdoor shower and bath were great too. Thank you for the pleasure of staying at your beautiful property.

This place was absolute paradise!! It was clean, well stocked, and the back lanai was amazing! We saw the cows and donkeys daily, enjoyed both the sun and rain while relaxing. The deck bathtub is an amazing feature! We will be back for sure! The towns of Wainiha and Hanalei Bay are easy to get to, this location is perfection!

This is our third year staying at this property. The traditional, elegant design and well appointed amenities truly make it a home away from home. The location is ideal for all north shore adventures. However, we find the real allure to be the tranquil, quiet and reflective escape this one of a kind space provides.
Communication with the owners was very easy. A thorough house “manual” is also provided for analog folks like myself.
Thank you for having us, and thank you Kauai- see you next year.

This was our second time staying at this house. We are already planning our 3rd trip there. The house is very clean, beds are comfortable, fluffy towels, and a well stocked kitchen. They also have everything you would need for the beach. But the best part is the outside views! We almost never wanted to leave the lanai. The views are dreamlike. From rainbows to waterfalls, and horses walking around the back area it’s spectacular. The outdoor shower and bath are a major perk! We can’t wait to go back.

It was comfortable, unique and beautiful scenic view of the mountain with waterfall. Perfect for 2 couples Two private bedrooms with private bathrooms. It was unique taking a warm shower outside or tub bath right on the deck. As an animal lover I enjoyed when the donkeys (I named them Junior and Momma) would stop by the fence for carrot snacks. Various little geckos jumping around the fence and random chickens strolling by. The walk to the beach was easy. The quickest one was turning R and walking down to the other side of the camp. The only bothersome thing was a neighbor that seemed to run his lawnmower 5 min., stop, then do it again. That happened several times, but otherwise a peaceful location.

Such a cute tranquil little spot. It’s what I envisioned when I thought of staying in a traditional Hawaiian home. Green mountains out the back door, farm animals roaming on the other side of the fence, lush gardens all around, cozy lanai. Walking distance to Tunnels was a perk. Loved it all!
