Communication with Kristi prior to and the days before our trip was clear and precise. Kristi even checked in on us during a Tsunami advisory, making sure we were aware and knew where to go which I thought was nice. For the house, it was beautiful, pictures online don’t do it justice. The decor and art work were beautiful. The place had everything we needed. The outdoor space was nice and appreciated the outdoor shower area and sink, made rinsing off from those beach days easier. I included just some of the flowers on the property and some of the visitors we had.
We loved everything about this house. The location is the best, close to Tunnels beach which is our favorite. We enjoyed the house, the kitchen has everything, just like home. Quiet neighborhood, quick drive to Hanalei. We would love to return here soon!

We were absolutely in love with this home. We stayed for a week in April. Very quiet neighborhood, walking distance to a small market and a coffee shop, not walking distance to any beaches but a short drive from Tunnels beach and probably 15 minutes from Hanalei. The owner provided so many recommendations. The whole stay was a dream.
The property, the owner , and the manager were all wonderful. The cottage was amazing and comfortable. However I lost two nights sleep due to a barking pack of dogs. They were down slope and the noise traveled up to us. The property manager was quick to get back to us and the noise was reduced for the rest of the stay.
We were incredibly impressed with the cottage from the moment we walked in the door. It was bright, beautifully decorated, sparkling clean and perfectly outfitted. We cooked almost all of our meals at the house and everything was thought of. All of the rooms were so comfortable and our kids loved that they got their own room. The cottage is nestled in one of the gorgeously green little valleys, only minutes from the beach, and you can walk down to the market for all kinds of goodies (plenty of staples and local steaks). The kids had a blast picking fruit from the yard! The yard itself was so lush and well kept. It was absolutely perfect. A huge thank you to our hosts for being so flexible and very easy to communicate with. We would love to stay again in the future.
One can’t go wrong with this rental. Beautiful property, fruit-laden grapefruit trees, clean, spacious, and loaded with all the extras: good cookware, some beach gear, cozy.Highly recommend
The house is gorgeous, in a wonderful and peaceful zone. The atmosphere of the house is very pleasant, with carefully chosen beautiful furniture that makes the stay relaxing and extremely enjoyable. The house is fully equipped with everything you need, spotlessly clean, and meticulously maintained in every detail. Its proximity to Hanalei and the island's most beautiful beaches makes it perfect for enjoying the island's magnificent nature. We had a wonderful holiday!

Lovely hosts, lovely home!
Absolutely prefect north shore cottage. Located just up the road from the local general store, coffee shop and shaved ice. If you are trying to get away from the resort atmosphere this is the spot for you. Quiet and mellow place to spend your days relaxing in Kauai. Minutes from the beaches and Hanalei.
What a wonderful property! The house is beautiful, well equipped and lovingly looked after. Me, my wife and our three children loved staying. It's a great location for travelling the north shore. We enjoyed the Na Pali trail, Hanalei and snorkeling on the beaches. Communication was great. Thank you very much.

Oh my Gosh, we absolutely loved the Magical Kauai Cottage. From the location, to the style and design of the home, the energy of the space, the comfort of the beds, the kitchen, the outdoor shower, and the stunning backyard. It is better than how it looks in the photos. We loved being there. It was the perfect home for us. We were so grateful to be able to stay in such a beautiful place. We will be back. We hope to be able to stay there for many more years to come.

My wife and I spent a wonderful week at this cottage for our honeymoon. We had done our research and reviewed this listing carefully, but walking up to the cottage and opening the door took our breath away. While the cottage is older, it is in exquisite condition, and the owners have gone above and beyond to make it feel like home. The house is very clean, the beds are very comfortable , and the kitchen is fully stocked. We enjoyed eating our meals at the outside table. I would stay here again and again. 11/10 stars.
This is a lovely cottage in a residential area of Wainiha on the north shore, about 15 minutes past Hanalei. A family of 4, we stayed here for a week over spring break and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property is lush and beautiful and the cottage is clean, and comfortable with 3 bedrooms, a full kitchen, laundry, and an outdoor patio. Beach towels, folding chairs, and snorkel gear provided was a welcome touch. There are no safe beaches within walking distance but it's only a short drive to some of the nicest beaches on Kauai including Tunnels Beach, Ke-e Beach, and Hanalei Bay. Lots of shopping and restaurants in Hanalei as well. Host was responsive, provided great directions (it's a little off the beaten path) and lots of recommendations for things to do in the area. This is a very different experience to staying in a resort and highly recommended for an authentic and relaxing Kauai vacation.

Very clean and beautiful home and yard. Pictures do not give it justice. We are not resort people and this fit our needs perfectly. Note: the directions the owner gives may be a little intimidating but just follow google - it took us right to the home.
