Check in easy. Kitchen has all the supplies you could need. Been to 2 other airbnbs in 2 weeks and this one is best supplied. Plenty of towels and beach towels. Only thing missing is condiments. Loved sitting on Lanai and looking at the mountain. One of the best vrbos we have ever stayed in. Expect any home to have bugs and geckos. No loud roosters woke us up. Stars are bright.Great location to amazing beaches. Drive 5 min to tunnels small parking by 8am and you will have a spot. Restaurant across rode at Hanalei Bay Colony is amazing best meal we had here. Either buy groceries in Lihue or Hanalei. Princeville is crazy expensive and nuts.
We love the North Shore and the house was beautiful and in a great location. Renting bikes is definitely helpful to get to the beaches. Lonnie was so easy to talk to and even checked in on us during the Tsunsmi warning. Thank you for your hospitality, we had a great trip!
Beautiful house. Felt like we were staying at somebody’s nice home, not a short-term rental. Very nicely and tastefully decorated, with furniture that was in good shape, nice appliances and everything you might need. Very clean. In a residential neighborhood. 10-12 minute drive t Hanalei. We will return!!

Hula Hale was the perfect house to spend our Kauai vacation. It was working walking distance to Tunnels Beach for excellent snorkeling. Close to Hanalei and many North shore sights. But, we always looked forward to coming back to Hula Hale each evening to lounge on the lanai and watch the swaying trees and taking in the beautiful scenery. Also, the house ans kitchen were well stocked with Everthing we needed. It was truly wonderful!!
We had a wonderful time on our family trip and were so pleased with this property. We were looking to unplug and simply enjoy being together, and this home was perfect for that. The owners thoughtfully anticipated all our needs—from kitchen utensils to beach chairs and even bug spray. Every detail made our stay easy and enjoyable. It’s a beautiful home, nicely updated and we would definitely love to come back
This house is a treasure! What a beautiful place. The amenities were perfect and communication was easy. The neighborhood is beautiful and so close to the Waters edge just a short stroll. We will definitely stay there again.
We had a wonderful stay - the property is very well maintained and located in a quiet area within walking distance from the beach. The house was well stocked with everything you need - paper towels, toilet paper, soap, beach towels, snorkeling gear, extra blankets, good quality pots & pans, kitchen tools and utensils, outdoor grill, outdoor spigot for rinsing after the beach, etc. With windows open and ceiling fans - not having AC wasn't an issue, it was very comfortable.As other reviewers have noted, there is a flight of stairs to access the house (with sturdy handrails)... and the interior is decorated with many porcelain vases and statues - we needed to temporarily move items to be able to use the dining table, kitchen countertop, and coffee table. Not a huge deal, but we had to take photos to remember how to replace the decor items before leaving.Lonnie was lovely to work with, and helpful with info. We had a very relaxing stay. Beautifully decorated northshore Kauai home nested up to magestic lush mountains with tropical bird songs in the morning, non-crowded beaches steps away, and a brilliant star light sky at night. 10 minute drive to Quaint Hanalei town with fun shopping and great food no need to leave the northshore as the atmosphere is perfect for relaxation at it's finest.

Well maintained. Ample amenities. Comfortable accommodations. Easy access to many beautiful beaches, local dining and shopping. The perfect place to get away and experience the beautiful island of Kauai for the first time.
Quiet neighborhood, there were a lot of young kids in the neighborhood that enjoyed playing in the yard next door and this houses yard over the weekend. They were having fun and were gone by early evening.
Well stocked house, the manager was very responsive. The beds are very comfortable! Fans in every room were appreciated.
Kitchen had everything we needed! About 15 minute drive to Hanalei with many great restaurants and a pier/beach.

We just returned from a much needed getaway in Haena! Our favorite place on Earth! Our stay was relaxing and the home was beautiful! It was the perfect size for my husband and I, as well as our 2 friends who joined us for part of our stay. We appreciated that this home was stocked with items that helped make us feel more at home. The generous amount of kitchen utensils and appliances, as well as towels and laundry items were a plus. We enjoyed many meals outside on the Lanai while enjoying the beauty of the sunsets and sounds of the birds chirping. The location was perfect and within walking distance to our favorite beach where we were lucky enough to snorkel with many large turtles and other seal life. Acacia and Lonnie couldn't have been more helpful and attentive! When speaking with Lonnie over the phone I felt as though I was speaking to a life long friend! Overall we had a beautiful and memorable trip in this beautiful home! We would definitely stay time and time again! Also, as a side note, my husband and I thought that the time and effort that was put into the small details of the home were fantastic! They took the time to put together a binder full of useful information such as restaurants and the different activities you could do while on your trip. It also included phone numbers in case of an emergency. I felt this showed just how much care goes into ensuring their guests get the most out of their trip! We truly felt at home away from our home.
Beautifully appointed home in a dream location. Nestled in a quiet neighborhood just 5 minutes walk from the beach, this home is a perfect getaway. The home has comfortable living space and two private in suite bedrooms. The kitchen host top quality appliances and all one would need to cook. The a manager as well as the owner are incredibly responsive and attentive toneven the most trivial question. Top of the line experience and unquestionably the best vrbo in my experience with about two dozen properties
We had a lovely visit to Kauai and really enjoyed the Hula Hale house. We loved being able to walk to the beach from the house and everything we needed was provided. The house is a bit of a drive even to Hanalei Bay, but once we got used to that, it wasn't a problem. It's a lovely spot and one we hope to visit again!
We loved our stay. Great hosts who took care of our needs and a fantastic neighborhood! I was very comfortable and fell in love with the horses across the way and the birds on the property.

The house is located in a very quiet and private location with lovely unobstructed views of the mountain. You could tell that this was a very seasoned rental home that accommodated us with every possible need that we had and was meticulously clean and tidy. The beach at the end of the street was great for a quick dip and tunnels beach was a quick drive for the more adventurous. The drive to Hanalei bay was quite enjoyable.
Perfect to get away from it all.
