This home is a lovely space that oozes with integrity. Hanalei is a very special place on the island and to be in such close proximity to both the beaches as well as to the stunning mountains is unreal. We very much felt and took in the sacredness of the mountains from the lanai as we relaxed, ate, laughed and even cried a little. The house and its rooms are smaller than the photos make them look and the size was just right for us. The roosters and the occasional doggies saying "Hi" added to our vacation vibe allowing us to imagine living on this very healing island of Kauai. We'd love to come back again and again! Mahalo
Hale Maile is extraordinary in every way. It is perfectly located, just a three minute walk to beautiful Hanalei Bay and a five minute walk into town. It is very quiet except for the sounds of birds and of course, roosters. The space is well appointed and comfortable with every detail taken care of. We especially loved the beach accessories that were included. Communication was quick and accommodating. We can’t wait to come back!
Wonderful home in the heart of Hanalei. Hale Maile had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We made use of the well stocked kitchen, walked into Hanalei several times, and enjoyed use of the beach chairs and umbrella. Next time I come to Kauai, I will only stay here!

Great spot - comfortable beds and set up. Kitchen is well stocked, there were even beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards and snorkels to use! It made things so easy. The lack of ac was very tough as the bedrooms don’t get any breeze even with the sliding doors open (which I was uncomfortable with safety wise). The property manager sent over some fans which helped but overall it was still very hot for sleep. The living room was nice and cool with plenty of cross ventilation, as was the porch.
We absolutely loved our stay. We will definitely be back. Best location, best vibes and best beach . We will definitely be back.

This house was very cute and the perfect size for the 4 of us. The kitchen was stocked with pans and knives that aren’t dented or dull which is hard to find in rentals. There were beach supplies to borrow that were in good shape and the house is a very short walk to hanalei bay which is a great beach. Unfortunately the side walk was having work done which made it hard to walk to town but it looked almost done. There is no air conditioning but with the fans and windows we were very comfortable the whole time. The shops in town are cute and not all overpriced. The farmers market on saturdays is just down the road but it is overpriced and touristy so I can’t recommend it. There is a kayak and snorkeling tour in town that is a great and light adventure
Our family of four had an amazing week at the house. Very comfortable beds, well appointed and stocked, beautiful wrap around porch. Easy walk or bike ride to town and beach. We hope to be back soon!
Perfect! A walk to the beach every am with my coffee and pm with a cocktail.Easy access to beaches.The house was so nice and comfortable. All the appliances we needed and more.The neighbors were quiet and polite.

Property, location and amenities are everything you could hope for. No AC, but that was no problem for a January stay. Wish we would have stayed for longer!
Wow... The stay was well beyond my expectations, from the cleanliness to how well furnished and cozy the entire place felt including the fresh flowers. We will definitely be looking at staying here again and again.
This house is clearly beloved by the owners. It has such great aesthetic touches that really add to the stay. The location is perfect. We had the grandparents with us and the extra guest room is set up so wonderfully to allow for privacy and yet everyone enjoys the torch. This was our second time at this property and we will be back again.
This property was such a fun place to stay for a visit to the North Shore. Everything was fantastic but you should know that there is no air conditioning and the open air feel leaves you sleeping with the crowing roosters outside. For us, that made the experience even better and more authentic.

The house is wonderfully equipped - full kitchen, lots of towels, and all the beach items you could need (chairs, towels, snorkel gear, boogie boards, etc). The house is a 3 minute walk across the main road to Hanalei Bay and is a 1 minute car ride to downtown Hanalei. Beds are comfortable and the house makes great use of indoor/outdoor living. We found it a perfect home base for all activities on the north shore. Note that there is no air conditioning and although there is good air flow throughout the house, it did get warm at times (we were there in August) although the house did cool down overnight. Overall a fantastic stay in a great location!

The house was very comfortable and featured lots of equipment for beach days. The location was perfect and just a short walk to the beach or into town. The decor was charming and everything was spotless.
High school graduation for granddaughter and 2 friends.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was very clean and bright. It was a 2 minute walk to the beach and a 5-8 minute walk to town. The kitchen was fully stocked and the laundry facilities were top notch. We will definitely stay there the next time we come to Hanalei.
This beautiful comfortable home was very clean and was located within a short walking distance to Hanalei Beach. Our family had a fabulous time for Spring break and hope to visit again in the future.
