Akahi D112. Recent upgrades, new split AC system. King bed.

Kihei Akahi unit D112 is at one of the best locations in Kihei, Maui. This is a quiet and safe complex. The entrance is right across the street from the sign for Kam beach #2. The Kam beaches #1, #2, and #3 are considered 3 of the best beaches in Kihei. You are right in the middle of them and could walk to all 3. They are considered some of the best snorkeling beaches and all 3 have lifeguards. There is also a large convenience store and numerous souvenir/apparel stores nearby. The grocery store Foodland is about a mile and a half away. The unit is one bedroom 1 bath with recent upgrades in 2022 including a new split AC system and luxury vinyl plank flooring, which gives the unit a beachy feel. Other upgrades include granite countertops, kitchen cabinets and stainless steel appliances. There is a pool and garden view and also a partial view of the ocean, beautiful sunsets. There is also a remote controlled sunshade on the Lanai. This can be a huge help when the sun is a it's peak.

The bedroom has a brand new king size bed with a 15" mattress. In the living room there is an almost new sofa sleeper with a queen mattress and a brand new 50" Vizio flat screen TV with a Roku. The bedroom also has a 39" Vizio flat screen TV with a Roku. The split AC system allows you to control the AC in the living room and the bedroom separately for comfortable cool sleeping. There are ceiling fans in both rooms and a brand new washer and dryer.

There are no stairs to enter this unit. From the pool side of the unit it looks like you are on the second floor. That is because of the hill the building is built on. On the entrance and parking lot side there is a ramp to the left. That takes you to the level to enter the unit. No stairs. It is a 1 minute walk to the pool and a 4 minute walk to the beach
.

The kitchen is fully equipped and should have everything you need. Stainless steel appliances, ice machine, modern gas stove, 4 slice toaster, coffee maker, pots, pans, mixer, mixing bowls dishes, blender and plenty of utensils.

Some of Kihei's best restaurants are just a short stroll away. The shops of Wailea and world class golf courses are a short drive away. The complex features 2 pools, 2 barbeque areas a tennis court/pickleball court (the same court lined for both games).

We supply beach chairs, beach towels, 2 boogie boards, a cooler and a wagon to roll it all to the beach. There is also an activity center across the street from the beach where you can rent snorkel equipment, paddle boards and many other things.

Be sure to stop at the office to register upon arrival (if office is closed register first thing the next morning). Office hours are 8:00am thru 6:30pm.
