TVNCU #1146 - A gated entrance leads you through a 6 foot lava rock wall toward the rear, ground level peaceful house. Privately tucked away, on the Mauka (mountain) side of the road, behind a front house (where the housekeepers live), the rental house sits. Capture unobstructed mountain and waterfall views behind the rear yards lush private conservation lands where occasional donkeys, cows, or horses graze. The rear lanai is 50' x 10' adjacent to a similar garden backyard. Step inside the house to enjoy the cedar wood walls, local artwork. It is is well stocked including a 2 man kayak, 2 soft top boards, 2 boogie board, 4 bikes, 4 beach chairs, large sun tent, 4 mask fins and snorkels, and more. The front house is occupied by two local longtime tenants who are the housekeepers as well. In addition, this tenant has an extra vehicle available (2017 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport) to rent directly from her. Please note that this property is located in a tsunami evacuation zone and there is air conditioning in each bedroom. We had the pleasure of staying at this property for 4 days. The views are breathtaking, we enjoyed a quiet evening bath on the lanai. Enjoyed waking up to the wild horses and donkeys in the back pastures. If you get the opportunity to stay, 4 days was just not enough. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay at your home and building beautiful memories with my family.

We stayed here for 10 days to celebrate my boyfriends birthday. We loved the view from the lanai of the mountains. On the third day we had a waterfall view from the lanai. The best part was Tunnels beach was a short walk from the house. We enjoyed snorkeling at Tunnels.

The house is great. The owners are even better. Any questions we had from the time we first inquired until our stay was complete were answered within minutes. Everything at the house is high quality and in good working condition. There is a ton of beach equipment, and even bikes to ride down to the beach. We will be back. Thank you for the great service!

Great location. The home is spacious and quite. Easy walk to Tunnels. Lots of beach amenities (snorkeling gear, shade, beach cart). The bikes were wonderful to have. For those wanting to hit Ke’e Beach and Kalalau…reservations are now required in advance. We didn’t know that and could not get in.
