The view and sound of the ocean waves crashing on the beach was soothing And beautiful. No TV allowed time to reflect, read, write. Kitchen fully stocked and if you don’t want to cook, food trucks nearby with delicious choices!I love Kaumaka 102!
Amazing stay! Direct access to the ocean and stunning sunrise view right from your balcony. Ocean is too rough to swim but stunning black sand beach. Peaceful and quiet ( stayed in October). Perfect spot for romantic gateway and convenient location to get to the waterfall and National Park hiking first thing in the morning. On site free parking is a huge plus, and a spot was always available. Kitchen is fully equipped . No laundry. Condo interior is very tastefully done but bathroom needs some deep cleaning ( especially tub, tile, window frame and door). Also looks like it has not been mopped under the bed for a long time ( I normally don’t look under the bed, but dropped an earring and was trying to find it). This condo is expensive but worth every penny. Would stay again. Highly recommend!
This was the most beautiful condo I've ever stayed. The ocean view was absolutely breathtaking. No ac, but didn't really need it. I highly recommend this property. Access to black sand beach was a short walk, it was rough, but naturally beautiful. Sunrise was just perfect.

This condo has a great view of the black sand beach and easy access down to it. It’s very clean and nice looking. It’s a perfect place for two. Loren was available to answer any questions we had and it’s an easy place to get to. I highly recommend it!

This was a delightful unit - easy to access and enjoy the views and the ocean breezes. The fan was awesome. Appreciated the firm mattress and new pillows. Clean and updated.
An idyllic setting where we could see the bay, hear the waves, with a short walk to the beach (black rocky sands). Neighbors a bit loud, but still one of the best spots in Hāna. Easy drive to the 7 sacred pools. Good food trucks nearby.

After a long day of hiking it was so nice to come back, clean up, and cool off on the lanai overlooking the beautiful Pacific. The sliding screen door allowed use to fall asleep to the sounds of the ocean. Our stay was incredibly relaxing and we’ll definitely be back. We highly recommend this place for a comfortable and very relaxing stay. There are quiet hours posted but there was a group above us that stayed up late chatting loudly into the night. This is no fault of the property owner and we were still able to enjoy our stay. Just sorry other parties weren’t as considerate.
Perfect place to rest and recharge for the night before driving the Hāna Hwy back. Very clean and very comfortable.
Heavenly Hana is a unique destination, far away from the busy and commercial Hawaii, and more like the idyllic image of the lush garden, soothing ocean waves and gentle breezes. Ocean View Condo provides all of what is perfect about Hana.
This is an absolute hidden gem in Hana - just incredible views of a private black sand beach, and falling asleep to the sound of crashing waves is amazingly peaceful. Just an incredible way to spend time in Hana.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wished we had booked this property for another night! The bed was comfortable, the kitchen had all the necessary amenities that we needed to make dinner and breakfast, and the internet connection worked well. The space was large enough for the two of us and our luggage. The view from the porch was even better than what was in the photos! We really enjoyed the balcony space. The day bed was comfortable to sit on and watch the waves, and the table was a great place to watch the sunrise while eating breakfast.The only complaint we had was that the guests staying in one of the other units above us got quite loud while on their balcony. But they did quiet down before the 10 PM quiet hours.We highly recommend staying here if you're going to be in Hana!

If you want a balcony & a view, this is the best you can do for the price in Hana. Check in procedure was easy & it was easy to find. Parking was adequate. It was very quiet there. Some things you need to know: There is no dishwasher. (That is why I have to mark down the cleanliness.) The next people get the dishes that the last guest washed. The nice, large refrigerator will get your toes everytime you open it because of the way the door opens in the small kitchen. They could provide a nicer, larger coffee pot for the price one pays to stay overnight in Hana. There is no AC so the cups & glasses sweat & I couldn't find the coasters until we were checking out--& I looked around for them. We didn't need AC, but I don't think there was any glass sliding door--only the screen. If there was, I did not see it. I only saw the slatted shutters & the screen. Suggestions: Please have housekeeping put the coasters on the dressers as opposed to stacked on the kitchen countertop where they are inconspicuous & not needed. And, the sliding screen door was left open about 5 inches when we arrived, (probably because it slides so easily). We think housekeeping closed it too hard & it popped open upon closing. They really need to watch out for that slider. That mistake invited in a 4 inch brown colored spider. We don't think that would have happened had the door been closed properly prior to our arrival. I would stay there, again, but never alone with b/c of that spider!
Our favorite place at this unit was our lanai that looked out at the ocean. And the ocean was close enough to hear the waves at night. Enjoyable stay.
The condo was exactly as described. The view was awesome. Black rock beach was nice to walk on. A/c and a tv would be nice additions.
Gorgeous little suits. Open air and worth it for the experience you get. I won't ruin the surprise, but absolutely gorgeous location. Try to get a top floor, as in the bottom level we heard our upstairs neighbors every move. Everyone was pretty mellow and quite by about 9.
The room was clean, cozy and had an incredible view of the black sand beach. Location was close to the National Park, State Park and countless trails. I highly recommend it!
Everything about the property was wonderful except that it was a bit noisy from other guests and housekeeping outside of the entrance to the room. Noises travel easily because of the levered windows and front door.
Only stayed one night, but it was beautiful and would definitely stay again. The room is large. The lanai is a wonderful place to sit and enjoy the views; we kept the door open (there's a screen door you can then keep closed to keep bugs out) and fell asleep to the sound of crashibg waves and gentle ocean breeze. The beach is a black sand beach and it was spectacular! The waves are quite large so it's not a great spot for swimming, but it offered an absolutely stunning sunrise view; definitely worth waking up for and walking along the beach area. Hana town is lovely. I wouldn't want to spend more than a night or two here because there isn’t too much variety in town, but it is a beautiful, peaceful area and I would stay in this condo again.

I’m born and raised here on Maui and often stay in hana with family. My grandmother who is from hana had passed away and her funeral service was at St. Mary’s church which is right up the road from the property. I’m super happy with my booking, having my own space with a kitchen and bathroom was worth what it cost. My family home was full with relatives and I appreciated the location of the property, its cleanliness, and the most beautiful view from our balcony. Loren was a great host who responded promptly to my messages, I also loved the easy check in! Will definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for an awesome place to stay in hana. Mahalo!
Quiet and comfortable property in Hana at a good price point. We wish we had spent more time in Hana and could have enjoyed the property further.
