Beautiful property and very easy and chill check in and check out process. I will definitely return on a future trip.
We enjoyed our stay at the Hana Guest House. It was a quick drive into town, beaches and Road to Hana sites. We enjoyed this peaceful retreat, the sunrises, geckos, and surrounding beauty.
We loved the home and enjoy the sound of nature. Well located, near Hamoa beach
This property was beautiful. We were a little nervous with no air conditioning but the breeze during the day and night was just fine. Loved having a great kitchen and washer/dryer. I would love to stay here again and hopefully one day we will. Beautiful location and viewing all the flowers and plants was amazing.
Located a few miles beyond Hana, this is a well-equipped and very comfortable rental.
Beautiful and well-appointed home. Great to be close to Venus pool. We were a little reluctant without a/c but didn’t regret it, good trade winds through the house. A little toasty on the afternoon but we found ourselves at the beach h and exploring so just right. Really nice place with every kitchen utensil we could want. The coffe you find yourself was a nice touch.
This is a taste of real Hawaii. The area is absolutely beautiful. The home has everything you need to enjoy the area. Raw natural beauty abounds!! Must see Hamoa and Koki beaches. Take the boogie boards and chairs! Note: No AC and days are hot. The night cools off and you can sleep comfortably.
The home is open and breezy. The ceiling is an incredible multi-tiered wood beam structure. Although a bit warm by day, at night the cool air puts you right to sleep. The bed was comfortable without being too soft. The cookware is complete and in good shape except for the baking sheets. Plenty of foil, wrap, spices and paper towels are supplied. The microwave is horribly located in a bottom cabinet. You have to get on the floor to access it. There is plenty of open counter space for it. So, that was odd. The tub has a very high wall to step over with no grab bars. The area is as peaceful as you could ask for and the house perfectly located between the National and Sate parks and relatively close to Hana. I loved seeing the geckos. The Geico mascot is dull in comparison. The double doors in the living room couldn't be securely locked because the top bolt wouldn't slide up into the hole in the frame. We weren't too worried about it. The house is set back from the road. In fact we drove past the little sign a few times looking for it. It didn't seem like somewhere vagrants would wander up the drive to the house. So, it felt safe. It's a great location and a very nice home, but quite pricey. The owners are extremely particular about their bed spreads. I guess they're an heirloom. The deck is large with a view of the ocean. There's no cell service but the WiFi is good and the owners allow the use of the land line.
Very good property and location. Mahalo
We appreciated have a good clean pure Hawaiian house to stay in. We can tell it’s well cared for.
One week enjoying the Hana area
Nice week stay- location was great. Very quiet and walking to a beach. Loved the house and grounds. Enjoyed the geekos.
Loved this house. Like staying in a treehouse. Owners were thoughtful and presented a welcoming aesthetic. Hāna is just beautiful and we loved our stay.
Perfect getaway. The property manager was very friendly, extremely responsive and helpful. Very close to the beaches and to town. Fully equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds and pillows. Wifi works well. Very quiet. Nice airflow with new large windows and double doors and fans in every room. The beach towels/chairs plus washer and drier were an added bonus. I would definitely stay here again.
The owners were wonderful, and the house was perfect for our family of five. Just what we were looking for… No crowds, beautiful scenery, and a ton of family time!
This was a beautiful Hawaiian home. We enjoyed our stay there and it was so beautiful to wake up with the sunset coming through the palm trees and being able to see the starry night. This is such a beautiful area to visit and spend some time in. We will definitely return again!
We loved this place! The fresh avocados were amazing to taste every day, and being a short walk to Tony and Caroline's fruit stand was a treat. We selected it for its proximity to Hamoa beach, and we were not disappointed. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped. It was the perfect place to unwind and use as home for a few days while enjoying and exploring Hana. Would come back again!
We have decided if we build a home - it will have this floor plan. Open welcoming, and spacious - large kitchen, quality wood table to bring the family together, and fun sitting area. When we came in island music welcomed our senses and flowers freshly strewn through the rooms were visual delights. The beautiful grounds had the most amazing flowers and a huge avocado tree. Floor fans were welcome for the sitting area and bedrooms. Ceiling fans helped move the air. You could see a bit of the ocean from the bedrooms. Loved the house geckos! Just delightfully beautiful and so welcoming - like coming home. Mahalo for such a wonderful family experience!
Great location and laid back Hana vibe! Old school charm. Just what we were looking for. Thanks for having this home available!
Beautiful location in garden area just outside of Hana with partial ocean views. Great location, large spacious open kitchen, dinning and living room space. Large outdoor Lanai. Just minutes from all the major to do’s on the East side of Maui.
So happy we found this wonderful spot so we could easily get to the Kipahulu side of the park. The owners/managers were so helpful in providing lots of information about Hana. The architecture of the house is really unique... we loved it!
This is a special place and radiates Aloha. So glad to have discovered this gem. Mahalo
Very nice to come back to at the end of some busy days! Had everything we needed to feel comfortable in a home away from home, plus lush surroundings and close to the beach to head to for a different type of relaxation when we wanted. Very clean and well cared for. Owners checked on us a few times to make sure all was well given the length of time we stayed (11 days) and were very thoughtful and friendly.
Our group of four spent one night at Hale Manu and enjoyed every minute of our stay. The house is beautiful, beds were comfortable, the kitchen has everything you could possibly need, and the view and sound of the wind in the trees and the ocean beyond were like therapy. It's an easy walk along the road to Hamoa Beach and the Venus pool--both of which were far more stunning and enjoyable than the crowded experience at the nearby WaiÊ»Änapanapa State Park. Communication with the property managers was excellent. If we ever have a chance to return to Hana, we would book a week here in a heartbeat.
We used this as an overnight stay after driving the road to Hana. The property manager was friendly and quick in their communications. We loved the location and would gladly stay again!
Kitchen had a good range of appliances including a blender we used to make healthy smoothies. You can tell that the hosts take great pride in their rental property as everything was neat, tastefully furnished and decorated and clean.
We started are 10 day vacation with a 3 day stay in Hana. I wish we would have stayed the entire 10 days in Hana! Unbelievably beautiful
