Secluded and quiet with views that are excellent. The apartment was well furnished. There was plenty of places close by to see. Restaurants and a general store are close by. There is no air conditioning in the apartment but, it was still comfortable at night. I highly recommend this property.
Lovely place in a lush jungle.
If you are looking for the perfect stay in Maui look no further than this stay in Hana. The host is fantastic and does an exceptional job maintaining the property and communicating with guests. What a wonderful treat to wake up to tropical birds and cool breezes everyday.
We had last been to Hana in 2003, and were looking forward to our three night stay. This place was an excellent choice for us. We sat on the deck each morning and evening. The view over the tree canopy is beautiful. Waking up to the bird songs is wonderful way to start the day. You can hear the ocean just over the trees. The bed is comfortable. We had what we needed for tea and coffee and cooked at home a bit. It feels very spacious for a couple. It’s far enough away from the road in the trees that it feels secluded, but if you’re up for it, you could walk into town to the food trucks. The local park/beach is also walking distance. I can’t imagine finding a better place to stay in Hāna.
The accommodations and property were exactly as advertised. We loved the isolation and privacy of the property. Both units (we rented the upstairs and a studio) were clean and well set up. Loved sitting out on the spacious upper deck, watching the birds all around us.
We enjoyed the peaceful stay and hospitality of the host.
Ultimate relaxation spot. Loved it. Would definitely recommend this spot to others
Being on the balcony feels like being in a treehouse in the rainforest.
We stayed in Hana for a night before meeting up with friends to celebrate a wedding. We absolutely loved our stay here! It was peaceful and relaxing and exceeded our expectations! We absolutely loved the feeling of being in a luxe treehouse being surrounded by beautiful foliage and trees. Would highly reccomend!
Be careful finding it! We didn't have internet access to read the instructions on finding the location. GPS takes you to a neighbor's property. There is a sign with the address but we missed it.
The Stay in Hana Upstairs on Hana Organic Farms is an idyllic place that is a welcome reward for travelers who drive the Highway. Lovely design and decor with a full wraparound lanai. It’s a short walk to the Hana Bay park.
All information and communications with the property manager is clear, friendly and filled with aloha.
We cannot say enough good things about staying here and hope to return soon.
Amazing property! I felt like I was staying in a treehouse. Everything was clean and the hammock on the balcony was an added bonus. It was a quiet little hideaway near everything we wanted to explore. I would definitely stay here again in the future.
Hidden treasure, peaceful and relxing!
Outdoor area and wrap around porch were great. Basic set up inside. Even with both downstairs units full we didn't hear any noise except nature, which we loved. Main issue is that the shower curtain was fairly moldy - less than ideal. Assuming that is fixed, no complaints.
Very cool property on this little farm right near Hana bay. We had virtually everything we needed while here. If you want to spend some time in Hana and like this kind of open air feel, this could be the place for you. It’s very conveniently located near the bay as well as food options.
We wanted to stay in Hana and explore and this was the perfect place. So close to Hana Bay and Hana town, plus just a half hour from the Pipiwai Trailhead and about 10 minutes to Waianapanapa. Great food close by too. Loved hearing the birds and geckos and the ocean! Highly recommend.
Loved 2nd floor view of trees, birds. So quiet, too. Appreciated bulk bath products in dispensers to cut down on single-use plastic. Space for two to enjoy without being at all cramped. Very nice after days of close proximity elsewhere!
Re amenities. Tiny frustrations. We had Maui ground coffee but had to use K cups as we didn't find filters or holder. Also, it took us a minute to find dishes in drawers under microwave. I looked for and didn't find trivets to protect the sideboard wood and table glass, but I did find a cutting board that worked.
Beautiful location and a great place to get away. Well stocked and always good weather. Only issue was the internet connection was not working and there is no TV or board games either- a bit boring.
