This hime made forr he perfect stay in Hana. An easy walk to the red sand beach made for the perfect afternoon. Pranees Thai food was amazing and also a short walk away.The home is clean, updated, and perfectly decorated. Roberta was communicative and hepful. My wife and I truly did not want to leave this place. We will 100% return to this property in the future.
I'm not a morning person, but I absolutely loved getting up for the sunrises here! Perfect location and this is one of my favorite spots now on all the Hawaiian islands. My wife's family from Oahu, so coming to Hawaii for 30 years. Host very responsive and had everything we needed. The beach supplies including body board were fantastic. Loved it!!
One hell of a stay at this gorgeous little spot. Felt so private yet super accessible to the rest of town. Perfect location with the black sand beach right next to you. I’m dying to come back already!! Must stay!

The views from the cottage are stunning. Watching the sunrise and sunset out on the lanai while listening to the crashing waves of the bay was a highlight of our stay. There is easy parking and access to a secluded black sand beach via the property next door. The cottage is small yet cozy with a modern interior and thoughtful touches. The bed is small and not the most comfortable. The fully equipped kitchen and propane grill make it easy to prepare food at home, however the offerings at Hana’s two small stores and even the farmer’s market are extremely limited. If you plan to take advantage of the modern kitchen appliances, take Roberta’s advice and grocery shop before embarking on the road to Hana. Roberta is a communicative and responsive host and a great source of information on the area. We split our time in Hana between this cottage and the Hana Maui Resort. Surprisingly, we paid more per night for the cottage than for our ocean-view bungalow at the resort. The bungalow was quite a bit larger, more luxurious, also had a large lanai with a breathtaking view, and was located on expansive golf-course like grounds complete with full resort amenities. The cottage was lovely, but there are better options out there for the price in my opinion.
Awesome place for a couple nights in Hāna.
We were beyond pleased with our stay. The home had everything we needed, and the views were magnificent. The short stroll down to the black sand beach was absolutely gorgeous. Loved it!
My husband and I spent two weeks in Maui for his birthday and to get some R&R. Staying in Hana was at the top of our vacation list, and we spent quite a bit of time looking for top-notch lodging.
This cottage was absolutely spectacular! The unobstructed views of the beach, the sounds of the surf, and the quiet neighborhood were beyond our expectations!
We spent a lot of time on the lanai just watching the waves crash on the beach, reading our books, eating homemage meals.... it was so peaceful and restful. The ocean breezes were lovely and we were totally comfortable.
We enjoyed the view so much that we never turned on the TV or our computers (thankfully).
While the cottage is small, it is very well organized and the floorplan is perfect. Nice big kitchen with full-sized appliances, huge lanai that is elevated to improve the view, and the bedroom was nicely appointed with a comfortable bed and powerful but quiet ceiling fan.
We highly recommend staying at this cottage in Hana if you are looking for a couples get-away and want to get some serious R&R.

This cottage is such a gem. The views alone from the balcony are stunning and make this place totally worth it. Beyond that, Roberta is an excellent host, very communicative and helpful. Additionally, staying in Hana is such an amazing time, and this place puts you in a very accessible location to food, shops and beaches. Overall the cottage was perfect; clean, cozy and very homey- highly recommend staying here if you get the chance!
Perfect stay for a couple in Hana. Easily located, easy parking on the property. Loved the many windows and tasteful beach house decor. Would stay again!
We weren’t sure what we were walking into. This cottage is a total gem!!! Super clean, the views are unlike any other places we have stayed. Roberta (the host) is prompt with responses. She gives clear instructions on everything from how to get here to where to eat and places to visit. This is the perfect getaway for my fiancé and I. When we come visit Hana again we don’t have to look for any other place. This is spot. The pictures do not lie!!
