A short walk to world-class, white sand beaches stretching for miles in both directions. Experience the beauty of a magical area nestled between emerald mountains and azure seas. Stroll in the sand on the closest beach, Naue. Walk or drive one mile to Tunnels, the ultimate snorkeling spot, with picturesque backdrop of Mount Makana and lush jungles.
Arrive "home" to a private, charming beach cottage with air-conditioned comfort. The fenced property and tropical gardens surround our guests with colorful foliage.
The top living space has a remodeled kitchen and living area with high ceilings and split system AC. There is an indoor dining area for 4.
Each bedroom has room air-conditioning. The larger bedroom offers a king bed with quality linens, flat-screen TV. The adjacent remodeled bath has a tiled shower and glass top, double vanity. The second bedroom has a queen bed with quality linens, and access to the hall bath with claw-footed tub/shower.
Wireless internet and 2 flat-screen TV's provide entertainment. The top-level lanai has a full-sized washer/dryer, outdoor dining for 4 and additional cushioned chairs.
The lower level is the ultimate space to play and relax. Enjoy the private covered area which has a double hammock, chase lounges, dining for 6, desk with wi-fi access and seating to enjoy the beach read. A tiki bar and gas BBQ pavilion is steps away. And tucked away in a private corner is a paved space with Adirondack chairs, dining table and 2 chaise lounges.
Beach access is a short walk across the road to Naue Beach. Naue is known for its beauty and off the beaten track location. During summer when the surf is low, you can refresh yourself in the shallow waters of Naue. There are no lifeguards. A mile walk or drive west takes you to Tunnels which is lifeguard protected and has fabulous snorkeling. We provide beach some snorkeling gear, coolers, chairs, umbrellas, and boogie boards
This cottage is located in "Deep Country" but has the amazing opportunity to walk across the road and a block away to a coffee/bakery shop and oceanfront restaurant/bar.
This cottage is on the corner of a residential cul-de-sac and a well-traveled, 2-lane road that runs to a glorious end at Haena State Beach and the base of the Na Pali Coast. Tall hibiscus and palm trees muffle beach traffic during the day. There is little traffic at night.

Donna was beyond communicative and responsive. The kitchen was very well stocked which made us making meals so easy and nice. We could go on a nice runs/walks and close to all fav spots in North Shore. The house makes you feel at home in the area. ❤️🌈❤️

The cottage was charming, location dreamy. The kitchen was well-appointed, gas grill very nice. By the 3rd night, we were awakened several times with what we assumed were normal tropical noises. Strangely, we found pieces of chewed wood and metal in the bathroom. We didn’t realize at the time that the sounds and debris were related to rat activity in the home. We were awakened the next night to loud scratching noises. There were definitely rats in the ceiling and walls. We saw a piece of wood nailed to the ceiling, clearly a patch, where rats had entered the home previously. There were rat trails too. The bathroom had a bad odor that can only be from rats. We notified the property host who said she’d get an exterminator (she never did), and that she would bring traps and sonic deterrents. VRBO refused to help as we had not contacted them within 24hours of check in. We did notify them as soon as we realized the rat problem. We looked for alternate lodging on our own and found nothing available. We spent little time in the home and continued to have sleepless nights due to the rat activity.
We felt the host lied to us. Not only that she said she’d get an exterminator and didn’t, but she said she had never had this problem before. Ceiling patch, and bags of rat poison in a storage room that clearly had been there before our stay, told a different story.
We are grateful for the partial refund we did receive. But are left with a bad feeling & wonder at all 5* reviews.

What a phenomenal experience that we had. This home is within a short walk of some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. The surrounding community is also a garden paradise. The home is gorgeous and well equipped. We had everything that we needed. The owner, Donna, also immediately responded to questions that we had. She cares a lot about others and is committed to her tenants. We would definitely stay here again in the future.
