It is, in fact, one of the ONLY vacation rental cottages on beachfront property to be found anywhere on central Hanalei Bay. Private, direct access to the beach, which is only 150 feet from your doorstep. Hanalei Town is less than two blocks away- an easy walk for dining and shopping. Also enjoy spectacular views of our beautiful mountains from the cottage living area and screened-in patio. World-famous North Shore Napali Coast hiking trails are accessed 15 minutes from Hanalei. Boat and Kayak excursions also depart right from the Bay.

We travel somewhere in the world as a family every year and this is our favorite thus far. Location, location, location says it all about this place. Kim and Smoky were excellent hosts too. Would recommend a stay here to anyone.

Kim was a wonderful host. My wife and I spent our honeymoon at this property and felt extremely welcome the entirety of our stay. The property has perfect access to the town of Hanalei and has beach access from the property. We will definitely be returning here when we make our next trip back to Kauai!

Watch the Kauai scenes from The Descendants starring George Clooney and it will convey the exact atmosphere you will enjoy at this property (except the shenanigans). It is all sensational. One of us did not use the indoor shower because the outdoor shower is wonderful and would like to build one at home, but the other one of us believes Colorado is too cold for that. We will definitely be back. Pro tip: make dinner reservations before you arrive — a couple of the best restaurants book a month out now! Smoky and Kim are terrific hosts. The house itself is super clean and has everything you can imagine needing. In addition, it is very very private and secure. Thank you for a great experience.

Great host. They provided everything needed for a great beach vacation. Cottage is well maintained and appointed. Just need to show up. Beautiful garden setting. Stones throw from the beach and a short stroll to Hanalei. With the popularity of the Hanalei beach be prepared for bit of traffic on the road in front of the cottage.
