Location was great, walking distance to the beach and to the plaza with restaurant and some shopping. Check in process smooth, amenities in room were great, beach towels, chairs, ambarella and a small cooler. The reason I am not giving it 5 stars is because the bathroom needed more attention. One of the curtain clips was broken, the shower head seem very rusty like it hadn't been deep clean in a while.

Came to Kaua’i for my son’s basketball tournament. The room was affordable compared to other places around and I thought it was worth the price for sure. It’s a cute little spot filled with pretty much all we needed . The premises was nice and clean all around. Right across the street of the parking area was a path to get to the beautiful beach that you could walk for miles. I also loved that the laundry room was literally right next door to this unit making it extra convenient especially for us since we had to wash my son’s jersey every day I did have to download an app that was super convenient to make payment and let me know when the wash was done. I seen other reviews about the traffic noise but to be honest we could barely hear to at all. It was not a bother to us one bit we never lost any sleep over it . We did have 2 boys that had to use the pull out bed in the living room which the mattress wasn’t so great but I find most pull out beds are all the same if we had a foam mattress to put on it or something would have been better but the boys are young they were just happy not to be in the ground. Other than that this unit was clean and enjoyable and the premises was also clean , quite and safe. I will definitely be back here on my next visit and would recommend this unit to my friends & family who plan on visiting Kaua’i . Thank you for sharing your hale with us to enjoy

This is a nice place for a Kauai stay. It is located about midway between Honolei (sp) and Waimea canyon so you have good access to the entire island. The room was nice although the couch was not the most comforyable to sit on. there is a lot of traffic noise from the highway but if really did not take long to get used to it. We never heard anything at night, The unit is pretty well equiped. It has everything needed for casual cooking. Also, if you stay there be sure to check out the Coconut marketplace just south of you. Wonderful place and lots of food options.

We appreciated how well appointed and well equipped G5 is. Everything you could possibly want or need is provided. Loved the decor and quality furnishings, close access to walking path, marketplace, and good restaurants. Especially glad to have Bluetooth speaker, which really helped disguise the traffic noise. Our only complaint- we like to sit outside on the lanai and enjoy the birds, gardens, sunsets, etc. This isn’t possible at G5 due to the proximity of the highway and very loud traffic. For the those who are busy all day exploring the island, this wouldn’t be a problem. But if you’re looking for a peaceful and serene Hawaiian getaway, this might not be for you.

This is a lovely condo in a great location! We appreciated having the kitchen to prepare some of our meals, and also greatly appreciated the beach chairs & umbrella, beach towels, and cooler for our day trips. Lots of great eateries in the area. Beach is less than 5 minute walk from condo. Kapa’a is perfect location for exploring other parts of the island, as well—quick drive to north, south, and west sides of Kaua’i. We would love to stay here again if we ever have the opportunity to return to Kaua’i.

Plantation Hale suites is in an excellent location. The room was in somewhat clean. There was a BO odor on the throw pillows. Also because G5 is next to the laundromat, it was noisy at times.

This condo had everything necessary for a vacation stay. It wasn't fancy and it was a bit dated, but it was clean and had lots of little amenities like beach chairs and coolers etc that facilitated day trips. Access to Longs drugs and Coconut Marketplace came in handy. The Market, though a bit pricey is well stocked and the delivery, bakery, ice cream and coffee shop could satisfy almost any craving more than adequately.Great central location for exploring the remainder of the island. Pool at facility was ok....bar b que and hot tub in proximity.Perhaps the only downside was the beach which was within walkable distance was not conducive to swimming; narrow, rip tides, large trees washed up etc. , though it was quite a pretty view. The large field in between condos and the beach had been taken over by a combination of impromptu campers and some longer term residents( perhaps homeless) who had enclaves that were often messy and uninviting. These blocked access in many cases and many of these folks were a bit sketchy and really didn't put out a welcoming vibe. They clearly saw this as their turf in spite of signs indicating no camping, it obviously was not being enforced. There were many nice beaches nearby; Lydegate Park is about a 5 minute drive and is really nice. Recommend: Waimea, coffee plantation and Poipu Beach on the east side and Ha ena at the end of the road as well as Annie Beach on the West. Lots of quaint places to visit all over, but also lots of spending touristy shops etc if that's what your looking for. Did a flight around the island which was spectacular and in my mind worth the cost...approximately $ 160/ person.Great island for scenery, vegetation and perusing dream homes.

This home away from home is located in the perfect spot. Just a couple minute walk to a beautiful beach, sunrise is the best time. 5 minute walk to coconut marketplace. There is a big ABC store for all your needs. This property is located perfect for going north or south. You're right in the middle, limiting your travel time so you can make the most out of your day.
The unit is just as pictured. Clean and very comfortable with a fully stocked kitchen, beach towels and cooler. I saw reviews of road noise, but it didn't seem noisy at all with the exception of an occasional siren. I would definitely stay here again!
