We are proud to offer you a clean and modern condo in the heart of Kauai. It's convenient location will allow you to enjoy all that the island has to offer. Our unit is part of Plantation Hale suites which features 3 outdoor pools and spas, BBQ areas, and a full concierge and activities desk. The resort has several restaurants, beach access, a mini market, car rental, business center and an ATM. You can easily drive to Waimea Canyon, Opaekaa Falls, Horseback, Riding, Hiking, Kayaking, Napili Coast, and Wailua Golf Course from the condo. The resort is about 7 miles from Lihue Airport, which is about a 15 minutes drive with no traffic. The condo has free parking.
This upper unit is optimized for the comfort of a family or group of four (up to 5). It has 1 bedroom that is furnished with plush 2 full sized beds and a full sized sofa bed with soft memory foam. It has 1 full bathroom equipped with a shower and a fully stocked kitchen with essentials like a microwave, electric stove top, and oven as well as a toaster, coffee maker, multi-cooker, and rice cooker. Our unit will provide the comforts of a home away from home, so you can spend less time worrying about the small things and really get the most out of your stay.
The living room and bedroom features a brand new 50" flat screen 4K smart UHD TV with cable and Roku TV with free movies, Netflix and Amazon Prime. There is also a DVD player so you can rent your favorite movies from nearby Safeway and play them if you wish to. We also provide high-speed Wi-Fi that can be accessed throughout the condo, as well as a USB/NFC docking station in every room for all of your electronic devices. The bedroom and living room both have in wall AC units that will provide an escape from a hot day. A new whisper quiet AC just installed in the bedroom.
The condo’s location offers convenient access to markets and is steps to a beach with a jogging or bike path, beaches, rivers, activities, restaurants, and more. The condo in next door to Sheraton Resort and The Coconut Market place with shops, Waipouli Town Center and Kauai Village Shopping Center and has supermarkets, Starbucks, McDonalds, and restaurants is a few minutes away. You can enjoy Coconut Marketplace farmer market every Tuesday and Thursday 9am-1pm and free Hula Dance show every Wednesday 5pm and Saturday 1pm and live Hawaiian music every Friday 5pm. Driving out a few minutes will get you to a place where you can rent bikes and enjoy the picturesque bike trail along the shoreline. The Wailua golf course, Lydgate State Park and Wailua River is close by and are great locations to kick back and relax. Lydgate State Park has a massive wooden playground and an amazing enclose snorkeling area that is open to the public, and the Wailua River is simply perfect for kayaking and rentals are offered near the river.
We provide a few beach items you can use for your enjoyment, including beach chairs, a beach umbrella, a boogie board, and beach towels. With these, you will be all set to enjoy the beach with your family or friends!
There is a shared laundry room just right downstairs.

This apartment is nicely appointed with comfortable beds and furniture. The decor is welcoming; overall it was very clean. The bathroom has a long counter, single sink, nice walk-in shower. There were plenty of towels but few face cloths. The kitchen had pretty much everything you would expect and is as described. Checking in was easy, but I received conflicting information to go to the main office of the complex to check in vs. going straight to the apartment, so I made an unnecessary stop at the main office. Jennie was very prompt in answering all questions. The information she sent prior to our arrival was all very helpful. The location was good, with easy access to a walkway along the local beach and to Coconut Marketplace, which has a few restaurants. I was only there for a few nights, so it was good for my purposes to visit both the south and west side of Kauai, as well as up to the North end of the island. Please be aware that there is no elevator in the building and the unit is on the 2nd floor, plus there is no dish washer in the apartment. These were not an issue for me. We did not use the pools or laundry facilities at the resort, so I can't comment on them. Overall it was a good stay.

We like Plantation Hale because it is centrally located. We have family on the North Shore and in Kapaa and we love to visit the beaches and trails on the South and West sides of the island. The condo is right next to the Coconut Market Place and a great big ABC store which sells food and gifts and necessities. There is a trail by the beach that goes both directions, turn right you can walk to Lydgate and turn left and you can walk to Kapaa and further. The only downside to the location is the the noise of sirens. There are lots of sirens due to car accidents and ambulances, everyday. You will hear sirens anywhere you are close to the main road not just at Plantation Hale. This is our third year staying at Plantation Hale, and the second year in this condo. We spand 5 weeks on the island and have found that this condo is afordable for long stays. We will return.

This property was very clean and well maintained. Access to amenities like pool and laundry were also provided. Central location close to airport and many stores and fast food restaurants. All necessary supplies were fully provided.

This was a lovely suite minutes from the most gorgeous sunrises. It came with all the comforts of home & then some. Comes with everything you will need for a day on the beach. If you choose to stay in for the night - kitchen is equipped w everything you need to make your meals. Hosts is prompt to answer any questions you might have. We loved the central location to all the great shops, food joints, & multiple beaches to enjoy. 4.5 stars ⭐️ Would stay here again

Good location. close to shopping, entertainment on the east coast. Quick access to a beach (non-swimmable). The unit is clean with plenty of necessary supplies. everything is as advertised. Great for couples and small families.

Worked from home for a couple of days here and it was comfortable, wifi worked well.

+ easy parking
- some bugs/cockroaches but that's expected in Hawaii. Near the end of our stay some people offered to spray the place with pesticides but we preferred to not live with pesticides so we denied the offer. Just keep the place clean and keep food secure and you'll be fine.

Had minor issue with the checkin but quickly resolved. Owner is very responsive. Condo is fully renovated and clean; the bottle of wine was a nice surprise! Nice location, steps from the beach and shops. We truly enjoyed our stay.

We have stayed at the Hale, year after year, for the last 6 or 7 years, and this unit definitely is the nicest. The double a/c's and fans were great for us, since we really love sleeping with cool air. There is an excellent view of the Sleeping Giant right from the Lanai. The floors, bathroom, and kitchen have multiple upgrades. And the owner, Jennie, was very attentive. Any issues we had were immediately taken care of.

We had a wonderful 7 nights here. The coconut marketplace next door was great to have and Safeway up the street was very handy as well. Being on a corner unit was great so we could still see the ocean. Another plus was the full kitchen. We were able to cook some great meals with local farmers market ingredients. Would definitely recommend and we would stay here again!
