The house is beautiful and is in a perfect location. It was everything we anticipated. The only issue we had is none of the showers had soap or shower gel. Otherwise it was really nice.
2nd stay at this property. Works perfectly for our family of 10. Great proximity to the beach and perfect if a remote, none resort area is your vibe.
We loved staying here and will definitely be back! They were so easy to work with and communicated very well with me.
We loved this little piece of paradise. Great beach access and close to plenty of things to do and places to eat in Kapaa. Plenty of gear for snorkeling, bogey boarding, and chilling on the beach. Great mini market right down the road with fresh tuna poke and sushi every day! The Ginger House is well equipped for the chef and the grill master! The host was very responsive and had great recommendations for everything Kauai. We will be back soon!

We thoroughly enjoyed this well maintained and spacious house, and its location was perfect for activities around the island. Anahola Beach is beautiful, and in early October it was never crowded. We all loved playing in the surf and on the beach. Locals were friendly, noise from beach traffic was mild, and being so close to the ocean allowed everyone to come and go as they pleased. We’d definitely like to come again!
Some of the marketing photos are no longer a true representation of the property, but the home is still beautiful. The layout is very accommodating and the house is well appointed with easy beach access.
Our family stayed there for ten days in early September and we did not encounter any of the noise issues from the beach that other reviews alluded to.
We had a great time staying at this amazing property right on the beach with all of the amenities we needed!

My wife and I stayed here for 3 days, it was private and relaxing. The noise that everyone talks about from the park next door is there, as locals drive on the beach in their buggies/trucks so you may hear their motors from 6:30am to 2am. Wild roosters in the neighborhood will wake you up most mornings at 6am. The host supplies tons of ear plugs at the house though we didnt use them and we weren't bothered by the noises too much. You will see surfers surfing waves most of the day.
The exterior of the property isnt maintained as shown. The current pictures are dated about 8 years judging by the growth of the trees, and the landscaping pretty much grows wild now and not manicured like the pictures show. There is no longer a fire pit or jacuzzi. The beach is covered in drift wood, not clean as shown. Trees have grown very high along the left side of the back yard so you can see down the beach as pictures show. There is a path in the back yard that leads towards the park where the locals park so you have to walk past them to get to the beach, there is no path on the left side of the property to the beach as shown in pictures. The yard is basically mowed weeds, the neighbors yards have regular grass and manicure their trees better than this property. The master bedroom AC was not blowing cold air so we slept in the room with the bigger bed on the opposite side of the house, probably best as this was further from the park noise at night. The interior is great, just as pictured!
We had the most fabulous stay this past week in paradise. The location was just perfect, and the home itself was absolutely beautiful. I want to make sure people know that the noise complaints on other reviews was just not an issue at all. Every once in awhile we’d hear a truck go by but never excessive or for long periods of time. Overall it was incredibly peaceful with an almost empty beach. We loved every minute of our stay.
I cannot say enough about the Ginger House! We rented the property for 3 weeks and loved every minute! The house is spectacular, just as pictured on the website. There are stunning ocean views from every spot in the house. It is very spacious with room for a large group. All of the furnishings are very comfortable from the beds, couches, dining space and outdoor furniture! The decor is perfect! Everyone that stayed with us were in awe of the beauty and comfort of the home. The house has everything you could possibly need with extras that most rental properties do not provide like shampoo, conditioner, dove soap, food storage bags, beach towels, plenty of bath towels, to name just a few. The property manager, was very responsive, friendly and helpful. The house is located in a neighborhood occupied by locals and we really enjoyed the local feeling, quiet, not overrun by tourists, we felt at home. The central location makes it easy to travel to either the Poipu/Waimea Canyon to the south and and Hanalei Bay to the North. Very close to Historic Kapaa making shopping and eating out convenient. As to the issue of vehicles on the beach, again, we stayed for 21 days and did not have any problems or concerns. Yes, there were vehicles that occasionally drove past on the beach, but they simply drive by - in 21 days there was never constant traffic or noise that lasted more than 1-2 minutes . 99% of the time we enjoyed pure peace! Can't wait to return!!! We already miss it!
Beautiful home. View amazing. Property manager great to work with. Only problem is location, right next to county park. Had cars and trucks revving engines at all hours of night going through the sand.
Beautiful home with an absolutely stunning view. House has all the right amenities and is steps away from a gorgeous beach. The house is well situated between nearby activities in Hanalei or Wailua. Property owners were responsive to needs. Highly recommend.
The Ginger Beach House is a relaxing oasis, right on the beach, ideal for families and friends who want to have a laidback vacation. The house is beautiful and well-appointed, containing everything you need, with many little extras thoughtfully left for guests, like games, puzzles, and books for all ages. Plenty of towels, outdoor seating & lounge options, and a stunning view from all angles.
The location is nicely situated between Kapa’a and Princeville/Hanalei, so the drive to either place is relatively quick and easy.
The owners were very approachable and accessible for any questions we had, and made sure we had everything we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Ginger Beach House and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a low key vacation.
Ginger Beach House was the perfect vacation home for my family. We enjoyed the home so much we very seldom left. The beach was beautiful and not noisy at all, as previous reviews reflect. We were there over New Year's Eve, built a fire on the beach, and sat and enjoyed being together as a family. The home was stocked with beach chairs, boogie boards, and snorkels. We have traveled every holiday for seven years; this is our favorite home. We will be back, and thank you, Ginger Beach House, for the memories. We miss you!
The house was amazing. It was perfect for 8 of us. Beautiful beach views and access to the beach was easy. The public road to the beach was next to the house so it got busy at times but didn’t bother us. We would go back in a second. Would definitely recommend. The property manager was also very helpful and easy to work with.

The property was incredible and just as pictured online. There was some miscommunication with check-in but it was resolved and the property manager came to house personally to make sure we were all set. I would definitely recommend this beautiful beachfront property!
