In case of an emergency that requires you to evacuate the premises, you will proceed to Kapaa High School which is the nearest Disaster Shelter. The host team provided snacks upon our arrival and left the lights and AC/fans on so that we would be comfortable upon arrival as well. There were 2 full tanks of propane gas for grilling as well as some filtered water for us in the fridge. The rental had endless supplies of tupperware, pots/pans, dishes, silverware, plastic bags, as well as many beach towels, snorkel fins/masks as beach toys for the kids. The bathrooms also were stocked with shampoo/conditioner and body wash. The laundry room had detergent and dryer sheets. Beyond all of the amenities, communication was excellent with emails sent ahead of arrival as well as text messages. Ultimately, what we valued most was hearing the crashing waves all times of the day as we opened the patio windows. Would definitely stay again.
