Brennecke Beach, Kauai

Located next to Poipu Beach Park on Kauai's south shore, this small cove is a popular bodyboarding location. The waves are consistent here and break both further out and close to shore, so beginning and advanced bodyboarders can enjoy a ride. They also don’t have to compete for waves with surfers because surfboards are not allowed near the shore.

Location: Hoone Road, Poipu

Directions: From Poipu Road, make a turn onto Hoowili Road. When you come to the T in the road, make a left turn onto Hoone Road. There is a small parking area near the beach.
