    • 3 bedroom
    • 3 bathroom
    • Sleeps 7

Tucked away on 3 quiet acres of native Hawaiian rainforest and only 2 miles from Volcanoes National Park, this cabin is the perfect place to unwind with family and friends.

This home has been purposefully built out of cedar boards and beams. This gives it the unique ability to weather the moisture and environment of the rainforest in a natural way and amplifies its connection to the surrounding forest.

As soon as you walk in the soaring ceilings featuring tongue and groove cedar direct your gaze to the massive wall of windows providing an immersive view of the Ohia forest (native Hawaiian tree) beyond.

The open concept living room is furnished with a cozy couch, chairs and blankets perfect for reading a book in the misty quiet of the rainforest. The living room transitions to the kitchen which offers a rustic but highly functional finish. All the amenities you need to prep, cook, and entertain have been provided.

Up the stairs you will find an even more immersive view through the windows. In addition there is smart TV and couch for enjoying movies, a day bed for afternoon naps or extra family, and a full bathroom with shower.

Down the hallway on the main floor you will find 3 bedrooms. The master bedroom has a comfy king size bed and ensuite bathroom with shower. The other two rooms share a bathroom with tub/shower combo. One room has a queen bed and the other has two twin beds.

You will have complete access to the cabin. Main floor includes open concept kitchen and living room, large lanai (patio), 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and an open loft with couch / flatscreen tv / and daybed.

Our hosts live on site and are there to assist when needed, but will otherwise give you privacy to enjoy the space.

The cabin is located in Volcano Village a small and quite town with an active arts center and just a few coffee shops and restaurants. Due to the large amounts of rain and sunshine the area has lush foliage and abundant wildlife.

Due to the remoteness of the village a car is vital in getting to and from it and also makes access to the National park easier.

Guests will have the pictured cabin space to themselves. Our onsite hosts live in a completely separate unit on the bottom floor of the cabin. They are there to assist you with anything you may need, but will give you space and privacy otherwise. There are no common areas and the homes are locked off from each other. ...
