Cute & Cozy Cottage very close to Volcanoes National Park. Only stayed for 1 night but wished we stayed longer to be able to use the fire pit. Plenty of room for 5 adults and 1 child. Loved being able to have the windows open and listen to the sounds of the coqui frogs.
We only stayed one night but it was the perfect place to stay while we visited the national park! Peaceful, comfortable, and very well equipped.

The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and stocked with all the essentials. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I loved how cozy and relaxing the atmosphere was.The location was perfect too. Easily to get to the National Volcano Park.
The Rainforest Cottage was so cozy and peaceful. Nice and clean. Lots of cozy throws. Ecologically gentle with solar and rainwater. Very convenient to the park. Wish we had brought food to cook in the well equipped kitchen. We appreciated the coffee left by the host. No cell service, but wifi worked well.
Everything was as advertised. The house was immaculate and the porch was a lovely place to have breakfast until the rain ended. The check was effortless and we really appreciated the coffee creamer in the fridge. Highly recommended.
It’s comfortable and cozy. It’s our 2 nd time staying at this place; and this time to celebrate our 42nd anniversary! We liked the location; and happy with the amenities, but hope to have more towels for our 5 nights’ stay.
Loved our stay here, just wish it could have been longer. Such a cute place and convenient location. I am super particular about cleanliness and this place was 10/10!
Thank you for sharing your home with us. The location was great to visit Volcano National Park. The house fit our needs and we are very appreciative of the coffee and tea available to us in the morning. The "extra's" in place by the owners made this stay even better.
We came in much later than we had planned and were simply delighted by what we found when we arrived. So much was perfect from the well stocked kitchen to the soft comfy blankets strategically placed around each room to the comfortable beds. Finishing off the evenings on the marvelous covered porch (perfectly dry during an early summer rain) listening to the Coqui ftog symphony each night was just icing on a wonderful place. We hope to be back soon!
Everything we needed for a few days to stay near the national park
Very peaceful and quiet! The house was clean and the bed was comfortable. It had all the amenities we needed.
The only thing was the water pressure was low, and not enough water coming out especially in the shower.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and comfortable. However, it is not very close to restaurants or shops. You must drive everywhere except the botanical gardens and the lava caves.
Our neighbors in the back apartment arrived after 10:00 pm, and we couldn't believe how many car doors they managed to slam right outside our windows.
In addition, it seems they used an outside faucet and didn't shut it off, but we were blamed.
Other than the bad behavior of our neighbors, it was a good place to stay.

Highly recommend this property for a short or long stay. Clean, well appointed, quiet location, close to Volcanoes National Park and gas stations/restaurants/general stores. Lovely flowers and great property manager! Would definitely stay again!

Watched a movie on Netflix (via Roku), cooked simple meals in well-stocked kitchen, beds were comfy with plenty blankets available for chilly Volcano nights. Patio was relaxing with ambient lighting, sounds of the rainforest (faint highway noise but not bothersome). There is another rental attached but it was empty while we were there.

This place is so charming. It has little touches and extra comfort items added that I feel is so rare in vacation rentals these days. The hot tub area was so nice and it feels so private. I’ll definitely be staying here again for a longer stay next time.

The house was very clean and well-equipped with all we needed. We were less than 10 minutes from Volcanoes Nation Park where we spent the day hiking. It was nice having a short drive back to the house. The mornings and evenings were cool and we enjoyed gathering on the front porch.
