Amazing house, great set up and worked well for a family of 8. The views were beautiful and the location was perfect for walking to town or the beach.

This home is an excellent example of a 5 star home. Every spot, every floor, every amenity, all the views, and the location were exceptional. Walking distance to a natural foods grocer, and multiple restaurants in Paia.Each bedroom was well appointed, taken care of, and very comfortable. A few items could be improved but that would depend on what kind of vacation you are having. The kitchen is beautiful but is slightly frustrating to the cooks out there. We had three chefs cook dinner for us and all had the design reservations with prep and cleanup. All the utensils were excellent as was the generous amount of dishes, pots, pans, and glasses provided. The wind through design and the giant oversized sliding doors give a warm inviting visual path to enjoy each sunset. The living space could use a comfortable recliner chair. The horticultural care in what was planted and maintained is outstanding. Indigenous varieties abound and meticulous care makes the grounds really "POP" like a 5 star resort. From the outdoor shower to the completely separate Cabana space, with its own full bath, made this family trip of 5 comfortable and relaxing. There was a "soaking" tub in the master suite that we could not figure out and was very DEEP. The management team is well suited, kind and excellent. They were caring and available readily if needed.
I do not have enough good things to say! What an exceptional home and location. It was hard to even want to leave the house but when we did we’re close to everything! Great to walk to town and less than two miles to Mamas fish house. The hosts attention to detail was outstanding. We are so glad we came!
View was fabulous! Paia is so convenient to everything we wanted to do. Being close to town let us walk to great beaches and restaurants so the entire week was very easy and relaxing.
The Paia House is an exceptional property in every way. The attention to guest detail, including the flower arrangements placed throughout the property, the cleanliness of the property and grounds, and the location to Paia Town make this property exceptional. The guest communication from Margit and her team was very helpful. and appreciated. We look forward to another stay at the Paia House!
This property was just as advertised! We greatly enjoyed our stay! The views and walkable access to town just can't be beat! Would highly recommend to anyone looking!
The house and property was absolutely stunning! I loved my mornings on the porch with coffee watching the waves and surfers. Beds were fantastic, and kitchen was easy to cook in, it had everything. Location can’t be beat either. Short walk into town for meals or just picking up something to cook for dinner. Thanks so much for sharing the home. We would definitely stay here again! Mahalo!
Upon arrival, we fell in love with the house and guest suite. It was late evening, so we couldn't yet enjoy the view. My son woke up the next morning and said, "Mom, we're in paradise." That's exactly how you'll feel when you open your eyes from any bedroom in the house. We loved being within walking distance to town. Mana Foods has your groceries covered, and there are plenty of dining options as well. We are already talking about another visit!!
Stunning home with a view to match. Coffee in the morning while taking in the view is worth every penny. The home is a model of elegance and function. Location is incredible. Walked to dinner every night and enjoyed movie night when we were tired. Host is very responsive and accommodating. We will return soon.
Our stay at this property was close to perfect. The house is exactly as pictured in the photos. There are four equivalent bedrooms including the cottage house. The views and the sound of the surf and wind was spectacular. The town of Paia is adorable with everything you need, shopping for groceries at Mana Food, bathing suits, or luxury goods. It's all there and walking distance. Lower Paia Park and Baldwin beach were great for morning walks. ( lots of turtle sightings). There is a small calm swimming hole at Baldwin beach if you aren't a fan of the big waves. The reports of the south side of the island being warmer and calmer are accurate. So we did venture over there most days. Which was only a 25 minute drive. All in all I would take that drive rather than stay in the midst of the luxury hotels and condos. The property managers were very helpful and quickly brought over another canister of gas when needed. The house is quite expensive but ended up being worth it! Highly reccommend.
The pictures online do not do it justice! Having all of our kids under one roof again, with plenty of space to play games and hang out, was simply the best trip ever. Working with Scott on check in and check out, or when we needed more propane and he was so quick to respond. He truly took care of us. We walked into town everyday, for coffee or lunch, dinner or a just the beach. It was so nice to leave the car in the garage and have the freedom to do whatever. I know everyone enjoyed that part of it. There was plenty of seating for everyone outside on the patio or in the grass on lounge chairs. I honestly can not think of anything that would’ve made our trip better. We can not wait to come back and yes I will try and book this house again.
This was a beautiful home with ideal picturesque view of Paia Beach and the west Maui mountains in the distance. The space was perfect for the 7 of us in our family with spacious bedrooms and bathrooms along with the family and dining space. Loved the view while preparing meals in the kitchen directly next to the patio doors. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking meals with cookware and utensils. The ninja blender was great for some of our mixed drinks and the space with the drink fridge came in handy.
Plenty of seating inside and out and we were happy to have access to the beach chairs for our time at the beach.
Location is great with 200 yd walk to beginning of town for restaurants and shopping. Took advantage of the path starting at Paia Beach park that went down past Baldwin Beach and all the way out by the airport for morning walks and runs.
We’d love to stay here again.

The ocean views were spectacular, and the lanai and swaying palms beckoned us to spend the majority of our time on the lanai. We were just a few minutes walk to the charming downtown area—making it very easy to walk for groceries, dining and nearby beaches. The orientation of the home and property created a very protected space, even when it was windy. All the bedrooms and bathrooms were simple and luxurious. The kitchen and was great and the large island allowed for multiple people to be working at once. We certainly hope to have the opportunity to stay in this beautiful home again! Mahalo for sharing it!

My family all said, that of the many many VRBO and other places we have stayed, (and we have honestly stayed at some pretty remarkable places, this was their favourite. Well done to all for a meticulously decorated, comfortable home. We were so grateful to have had the pleasure to stay here. We will be back (my dear father has already asked us to book for next year!!!)

It was a blessing we found this home for our family ranging from a 92-year old grandmother to a 16-month old infant and all the in between! Let me start by saying, this home is a hidden gem and can literally step out and walk to town!
The home is spacious, meticulously clean, open, with DREAMY views! It's perfect for grandparents to experience and explore the beauty of Maui with no steps to enter the home and one small step to enter from the garage. The cottage was perfect for my husband and I to have our own space and rest while our toddler and infant played in the main house, the backyard and front yard. You may wonder about baby equipment. We rented a high chair, crib and small futon as well as a wagon and beach toys for our toddler through Maui Vacation Equipment.
No need to even rent beach chairs, the house comes with at least 6!
As an occupational therapist and design consultant, I LOVED how this home is functionally accessible for the entire family. Not fully wheelchair accessible however, there is a roll-in (curbless) shower for those who have trouble stepping over the threshold. No grab bars or chairs to sit or prop your feet however, a shower chair can easily be rented through the above equipment company.
Terry and Margit were ALWAYS available although, we didn't even bother them much because we were having such a great time exploring and more. Check-in is more of a personable experience with the managers on site to do a walk-through.
