The Hanalei Getaway property is entirely rented to you and your Ohana "family" with a 2 story home of over 2,000 square feet, 4 amazing furnished outdoor lanais, 2 outdoor showers, a beach gear room full of gear for you to use, stacked surf/sup paddleboard/kayak racks, a loaded bike shed and much more! The upstairs spacious master bedroom has a comfortable California King bed, eco friendly A/C unit, woven swinging chair, large double wooden closet, numerous windows high vaulted ceilings and beautiful mountain and waterfall views. The upstairs full bathroom has been recently remodeled with a custom subway tile shower, and an Acacia wood bathroom sink countertop, vaulted ceilings and beautiful views of the lush Hanalei foliage. Lying in the comfortable queen size bed of the second upstairs bedroom you will enjoy the seemingly never ending mountain and waterfall views out the window. The natural light form the numerous windows in the upstairs kitchen, dining room and living room will take your breath away! The kitchen has new eco friendly stainless steel appliances (large refrigerator, dishwasher and electric oven/stove, and it is fully equipped with many cooking accessories (blender, coffee maker/grinder, microwave, etc) for all of your families culinary needs. Well stocked house in Hanalei, perfect for a family. House has small bedrooms, the 2nd upstairs is quite small, but the common areas are huge and great for gathering. Nice stocked kitchen. Easy access to the beach although it is a 5-10 minute walk, particularly with gear. Note that only 2 of the bedrooms have portable AC units and none in the common areas, the house can get quite warm in the late afternoon/evening if the windows and doors are not left open. Get used to waking up EARLY every day. Not particular to this house, but Kauai roosters crow most of the night but really get going at around 4:30am. Local dogs howl as a group every day starting at 5 or so. Everything revolves around early start, early to bed, the restaurants all close very early as well. Beautiful place to stay, would definitely stay again.

This house was perfect for us and our family! It was exactly as described and in a great location close to town and the beach. It had a great selection of bikes, boards, chairs, etc., and made for a great vacation! Our hosts were quick to respond to all of our questions and very helpful! Thank you!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay- can't beat this location, walking distance to beach and restaurants. More beach gear than you'll be able to use, each bedroom has an a/c so you can sleep comfortably. Our kids are begging to return.
