From the moment you enter The Plantation House in Poipu Beach Estates you will experience Hawaiian living at its best. Enjoy cooking in a fully equipped gourmet kitchen, with an open dining and living floor plan. This new and modern vacation rental is uniquely decorated with style, comfort and relaxation in mind. This house has central air conditioning throughout, an outdoor shower, gas BBQ grill, and indoor washer & dryer for your convenience. We can accommodate up to 6 guests. The main floor has a common guest half bathroom and two guest bedrooms - one with king bed/tv and one with queen bed, each with ensuite bathrooms. Upstairs, the primary bedroom has a king size bed/tv and ensuite bathroom. There is also a futon available if needed.

The Poipu Beach Athletic Club Membership is included and is only about 1/2 mile. There you will find a pool with a waterslide & waterfalls, hot tub, tennis & pickleball courts, cardio & weight rooms, basketball & shuffleboard. Enjoy food & drinks at the Cabana Bar & Grill, or take a fitness class (additional costs).

PLAN ACCORDINGLY: We are not able to grant early check-ins and/or later check-outs in advance. Should you need to guarantee additional time in the unit, we do suggest booking the additional night to accommodate this.

Destination Kauai is a locally owned and family operated company. We offer contactless check-in for a seamless arrival. A 15% deposit is due at the time of booking. Refundable security deposit applies. We are committed to clean - this unit is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized for every guest arrival.

Additional guests and gatherings are not allowed.

We recommend soaking in the sun and enjoying the beautiful outdoors that Kaua'i has to offer. But if you need to stay connected, free wireless internet is provided.

For your convenience, we provide some beach gear for your use: beach chairs, umbrella, small cooler, and beach towels.
We also provide a starter supply of amenities and toiletries (soaps, toilet paper, paper towels, detergents).

This really is a gorgeous house in a very nice, quiet neighborhood close to everything around Poipu. The craftsmanship, layout, and amenities are truly excellent for a relaxing visit to Kauai. Our family of six, three generations ranging in age from 16 to 86, loved Halalu Plantation House. The open kitchen/great room provided plenty of space when we were together (high ceilings and bigger than it looks in the pictures), and the bedrooms up and down gave enough privacy, private bathrooms, and good sleeping spaces. The upscale kitchen is really well stocked with everything you need to make and serve meals, and the view out the kitchen window is stunning. The house in general is REALLY well appointed with thoughtfulness put into many details - even the beach amenities all worked great; it was really handy to have chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, towels all set to go. We were also really pleasantly surprised by the Poipu Beach Athletic Club - we worked out, swam, and hung out there several times, super nice! All in all, it is the perfect home to use as a base for a great Hawaiian vacation. Between the 6 of us, it received12 thumbs up!

The Halalu is a new construction house in a quiet neighborhood just .4 miles from the path that runs in front of the Sheraton, Kiahuna Plantation, Marriott and on to Poipu beach and is wonderful walk to take at sunrise or sunset. If you are planning a beach day you’ll want to drive to Poipu or other nearby beach. Note, the house has a full shed of beach equipment with many more items than are listed in the description so there is no need to buy beach toys! The house comes with admission to the Poipu Beach Athletic Club, .9 miles from the house. If you walk, you’ll have to walk on the side of busy Poipu Rd., so driving is preferable. The Club is ideal for the whole family with a pool that has a sand beach at one end and a waterslide at the other. There is a full outdoor gym, tennis and pickle ball courts as well as basketball, volleyball and pingpong, plus poolside service provided by the club’s restaurant and bar. The Halalu house location is close to family friendly activities and restaurants and is a win, win for a great family vacation.
