Mauna Lani Beach Club Pass: Your stay will include a pass card to the private parking area for the Mauna Lani Beach Club. The Mauna Lani Beach Club is a beach area on the South end of the Mauna Lani Resort. It is a white sandy cove with calm water. There are lounge chairs available on a first come, first serve basis. There is a full service restaurant adjacent to the beach area.
Amenities:
Beach Equipment: All of our vacation rentals include beach towels for the maximum occupancy, four beach chairs, two boogie boards, one beach umbrella and one small portable cooler.
Non-Smoking: All of our vacation rentals are Non Smoking. Many of the gated condo complexes are completely smoke free (including e cigarettes) within the entire gated complex.
Hair Dryer: There are hairdryers in each bathroom.
Baby Equipment: Due to safety/sanitation/liability we do not provide baby equipment. Please refer to our Concierge Service page on for local company that rents, delivers and picks up baby equipment.
No Pets: All of our vacation rentals are pet free.
Parking: open parking in complex for 1 car. Oversized or commercial vehicles are not allowed.
Swimming Pool: One community swimming pool
Hot Tub: One community hot tub
Fitness Room: Yes, fitness room onsite.
Air Conditioning: Yes, central air conditioning throughout.
BBQ: BBQ Grill on the lanai
Washer and Dryer: All of our vacation rentals have a washer and dryer in the unit.

Fairways at Mauna Lani 606 is located in Building 6 at the Fairway at Mauna Lani in the Mauna Lani Beach Resort. Offering plenty of room for entertaining family and friends. This vacation home is a perfect place for a relaxing vacation!
The Fairways at Mauna Lani are a gated condominium community in the heart of the Mauna Lani Resort on the Kohala Coast of the Big Island of Hawaii. The Mauna Lani Beach Resort is a master planned world class resort with Golf Courses, shopping and dining. The Shops at Mauna Lani have restaurants, shops and a grocery store.
All of our vacation rentals include a basic “start-up supply” of: laundry detergent, garbage bags, kitchen sponge, liquid soap, dishwasher liquid, paper towels, toilet paper, conditioning shampoo, small bar soap, all-purpose cleaner and salt/pepper. Cooking oils, condiments, spices, food storage bags, plastic wrap and aluminum foil are not provided. Once the startup supply runs out, guests can restock at nearby grocery stores.

Great house, very comfortable. Everything worked well. Only issue was that you are kind of isolated from a walkability perspective, and you really need to drive to get anywhere interesting (like A-Bay). The Mauna Lani beach club was not as cool as many of the other free beaches in the area.
We had little kids (2 and under), and we found it difficult as the place was not particularly babyproofed. But again, the house was wonderful. Just challenging with kids.

We visit twice a year and always stay at the Mauna Lani resorts via a VRBO. We are always pleased and never disappointed. See you in December :)

This is our 2nd year in this particular unit. It’s wonderful, quiet, private and comfortable. This year we rented a second unit also for our son and his family. We’re hoping to make this an annual family event!

Wonderful condo in a great location. Unit exceeded our expectations on all fronts! Very spacious and the high ceilings make it feel even larger. Very private corner location which was great for enjoying the outdoor dining area where we ate all our meals during our stay.

The carpet was filthy. The couch was extremely low to the ground and uncomfortable to sit on and also dirty. The master bedroom had no window shades so it made it uncomfortable to undress at night as people could see in. The TV’s were not smart TV’s and cumbersome to use (no streaming)
There were signs posted all throughout the place with rules on what and what not to do? including one for the AC to not set it below 74% .
The location was nice and the access to the beach club was probably the highlight.
Sorry but no, would NOT stay there again.

Overall positive. Good location, nice pool area and fairly quiet compared to other properties in the area we have stayed. Unit has a nice layout and well supplied. Biggest downside is furniture. Old and very uncomfortable.

Loved this property. It’s such a beautiful, private setting. The house was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Location is fantastic. The only minor suggestion I have is have a starter packet of coffee for the coffee pot for the first morning. We’re hoping to return again next year!

Unit was very comfortable with a beautiful private Lanai. We weren’t aware the Beach Club was at least a 40 minute walk away. We drive most days of our stay and it was about a 7-10 minute drive. But there is a nice pool and hot tub within the complex that we also enjoyed.

Great quiet location. Beautiful view of hole #4. Had all the amenities we needed. Including beach items ( chairs, boogie boards, umbrella). The only thing I would say is add blinds to the sliding doors especially to the master bedroom. (Sun rises at 5:30/6:00AM and we were up with the sun). Also need a few more beach towels as we found ourselves doing laundry every night in order to have clean beach/pool towels. Would highly recommend this listing.

This should be a five-star property. The unit is well located on the backside of the building facing the golf course, so there is lots of privacy and nice golf course views from the lanai and from the balcony. Nicely furnished.
However, two things prevent us from recommending it.
First, despite the cleaning fee, the unit was not well cleaned. The was a used washcloth left hanging from the shower head, and dust bunnies and a dead roach in the closets and under the bedside tables (apparently not cleaned for a while).
Second and more importantly (moving the washcloth and cleaning up, while annoying, only took a few minutes), the shower was unpleasant and the bath tub unusable. The shower head was the worst low flow shower head I’ve seen (and I’ve been using low flow shower heads for 30 years) and the hot water was only lukewarm, so even using only hot water I was shivering when I got out of the shower. And the tub (which is really nice) would be cold by the time it was filled (even if only using hot water). Since showers are important in Hawaii, I recommend against this unit unless they spend $30 on a decent low flow shower head, turn up the hot water temperature, and do real cleanings between uses. If they do that, I’d say this would be a great unit and strongly recommend it.

We really enjoyed our stay here. This was a new neighborhood for us and we’re not sure what to expect. The condo is in great shape, well equipped and clean. The development is well manicured and close to a very nice quite snorkel beach. I do recommend this unit and neighborhood.
