    We have recently refurnished the entire condo and have replaced all the windows with tented, screened windows that open to let in the cool ocean breezes. The VRBO Bear has stayed at our condo and gave us a 5 star review.

    We have a queen bed in the upstairs master bedroom, a king bed in the down stairs guest bedroom, a queen bed in the living room sleeper sofa and a infant pack away bed in the closet. We are on the 2nd and 3rd floor of a three story building with amazing ocean views. The master bedroom is on the 3rd floor away from the main living area and overlooks the ocean. Cool ocean breezes come through the screened windows and you can hear the waves crashing.

    This condo is privately owned, it is not a time share. When you rent this condo you are staying in our vacation home, not an investment property. Therefore you will have use of our personal beach stuff, saving you hundreds of dollars not having to rent beach chairs, snorkels, umbrellas, ice chests and boogie boards during your stay.

    You can instantly book our condo by paying directly to VRBO. A down payment of 30% is due at time of booking, 35% due 90 days before your trip and balance due 60 days before your trip. Stays longer than 30 days require mid stay cleanings every two weeks at a cost of $199 each. This allows the housekeeper to change out the bedding and towels, vacuum the carpets, clean the windows, and inspect for leaks and damage.

    Our family of 5 loved our stay at Kaha Lani #216. We’ve stayed at other units here before, and 216 is very well appointed in comparison. We had everything we could have ever needed in the kitchen (coffee makers and coffee grinder, blender, toaster, rice cooker, all the pots, pans, dishes, cooking utensils you could want), and great beds, towels, fans, and beach gear. The condo is centrally located to anything you could want to do, including beachfront access to watch every morning’s stunning sunrise with sand between your toes. We walked to Lydgate park to snorkel most mornings, and spent every afternoon/evening at the property’s pool. The Kaha Lani is a beautiful property, and unit 216 was a beautiful place to call home for a couple of weeks.

    The accommodations were dated and need an update. Labels all over the place giving instructions made us feel uncomfortable. One said the couch was weak so don’t lean on the arm. How about replacing the couch instead. Dishwasher doesn’t dry so we had to do that manually. We had to strip beds before we left. What was the cleaning fee for? The letter about the break ins was a very concerning way to start our stay, especially with the unsecured way we picked up the keys. Not very well stocked kitchen. VRBO in Maui had sugar, spices and even coffee. Not a very welcoming experience!

    I really enjoyed the location of this property. It made travel to any stores really quick, as well as central to the North and South shore for day trips. Our favorite part was the Lydgate Beach Park which has playgrounds as well as two ocean swimming pools that were great for our kids!

    Pictures looked better than the reality. However, I understand due to beach front location and moisture things can smell like old stinky wood and dirty sand. Location was close to lydegate beach which was cool. I don’t want to bash as we did enjoy the location and place was okay. However the upstairs room was unbearably hot. Even swamp coolers would’ve made a huge difference. The place is in need of renovation. Screen door was torn, cabinets smell like old rotting wood, owner doesn’t let you use their washer and dryer and insteads makes you use laundry mat. For the price it was underwhelming and we would choose other options going forward. Owner could improve if she opened up the washer and dryer, put some money into some renovations, and bought some portable AC units for corner of rooms.

    Our family absolutely loved our stay at your condo at the Kaha Lani! It was central to all the things we planned to do as well as places to eat, shop, and just relax! The condo was spacious for us, our two kids (4 and 8), and my parents. It was relaxing , comfortable, and quiet- the sound of the waves 24/7 and the nice breeze coming off the coast was lovely. The beach chairs and the sand toys you shared were a hit. We brought our own snorkel sets, backpack cooler, and a beach tent, but if we didn’t, you all had the fun stuff in the patio closet and more! The resort grounds were also beautiful and well kept! Loved all the pops of colorful flowers amidst the green plants and trees. The gorgeous view of the waves rolling in from the condo and access to the pool and a grill was also a plus! Thank you for providing such a great place for our family to call “home”. We will definitely be back! Thank you again, Marcy and John!

    This property was the perfect central location to explore the entire island of Kauai! It’s very private and quiet, off the beaten path yet a close drive to stores, restaurants, etc. it’s a very easy drive to/from the airport! Loved that it included the beach essentials (chairs, snorkels, boogie boards) which we used daily! The property is beautiful and although the beach waves were a little rough to swim in for our boys, it’s a beautiful beach to walk or sit out at… not populated at all which is awesome! It’s beautiful! Overall we enjoyed our stay at this property and would definitely book it again next time we visit Maui.

    The property turned out to be a perfect location for our group of four adults. We traveled each day to a different part of the island and the condo proved to be central to all. The property manager was attentive and helpful! The amenities available were more than expected: boogie boards, beach chairs, coolers, fins, snorkeling gear and other island necessities. There was also an added benefit of being located next to a great park and beach within walking distance from the condo. Would definitely recommend!

    This was a great unit for 2 couples. We each had our own bedroom and bathroom. Well stocked kitchen and nearby grocery stores so we could cook some of our meals. I like the location as it is centrally located about halfway between Waimea and Hanalei. We would definitely stay there again.
