Staying in Suzanne and Ray’s cottage is like visiting family. Cozy and well appointed, full of aloha. The location is heavenly; grass lawn to swaying palm trees, to endless Hanalei Beach. A truly tropical paradise.
This is a wonderful property directly on Hanalei Bay. We really enjoyed being able to walk through the backyard and onto the beach. The house is a great size for 2 people, with plenty of outdoor spaces as well. The owners have recently updated the interior with new smart tvs and stainless steel appliances, giving the house an updated feel. They also provide some beach chairs, snorkeling gear and grill accessories for the charcoal Weber grill, which all helped to make our stay more enjoyable. This property will definitely be on our list to return to!

We've stayed many times in these properties on Hanalei Bay, and the location can't be beat. Gorgeous views of the bay, and just a short walk to the water. The Moon Beach Cottage is functional and has everything you need, but it's showing its age. The beach and bath towels all need replaced, and some of the small appliances are getting old. But it's comfortable and there's nothing like being on this beach every morning when you wake up.

We have stayed here multiple times and hope to stay here again in the future. This adorable cottage provides everything we could possibly want. It is very well managed too. The location on Hanalei Bay combined with the lovely green space is simply magical.
This is a perfect location and view to appreciate everything about Hanalei—views, peace, privacy. Cottage adequately stocked, tho dated. If you are a walker, it is within walking distance of village, depending on heat/humidity. Perfect size for 1 or 2 people.
We loved our stay at the Moon Cottage. What a beautiful spot.
The beach house itself is nothing fancy but exactly what you need. Location is incredible. My wife and I stayed and took advantage of cooking in the cottage for breakfast and heading into town for dinners. Hanalei Bay is an amazing place to stay on the island and this cottage is located exactly where you want to be.The ONLY negative I'd say are the roosters living very close to the house, one right by the bedroom which had us up early a couple of mornings haha
Amazing place for two people. Perfect location, comfortable and just what we needed! Highly recommended for a couple or two people who just want to get away!

Half Moon Bay was amazing. The location was perfect. Close enough to town to easily get to stuff but far enough away to feel secluded. The beach is right there and you almost feel like it’s your own private beach. And the house was great. If I had any quibble with anything, it was with the fact that there were no directions on how to access local tv channels to watch sports. But that is relatively minor. We would come back 10 out of 10 times.
This was the perfect cottage - great location, beautiful view, has everything you would want. We loved being able to walk right out to the beach. Outdoor shower was a plus. We would love to visit again.

This cottage was a perfect getaway for my partner and I. It was beautiful, right on the beach, quiet and close enough to town to bike (which we rented for the week) in for dinner. As we are not cooks and live so rurally that we don’t eat out often, enjoying the many exotic meal options was fun for us.

We spent a week here in June. The place was clean very well stocked inside and out with everything we needed. A couple of things came up and Kira was quick to respond and help. Great communication. The house is located perfectly distanced to town and the beach. Will definitely be back and would highly recommend!

We decided on Hanalei Bay for our wedding, and the Moon Beach Cottage was the most picture perfect accommodations we could've picked. The house was clean, well equipped, and cooled down quickly after those long beach walks. It was tricky keeping the sand out of the house even with the hose outside, and there was no vacuum or broom (though there is an outdoors broom). The outdoor shower is a must-use, especially during those surprise downpours.Location was spectacular, with an expansive lawn leading to the beach. The way to town is deceptively far, but not unreasonable. The only bump in our stay was we were given the wrong directions to the house, but we had the proper address and lockbox code which was the most important part - Google maps got us there with no trouble.Overall we were thrilled with our experience with this home, and we will absolutely be returning to stay for future anniversaries.

We absolutely loved our stay at Hanalei Moon Beach Cottage! Everything we could need was provided and the cottage was full of character and charm. If you prefer a sterile resort scene, this is not for you but it suited us perfectly- felt like a "home away from home". You can't ask for a better location, on the quiet end of the most beautiful beach- perfect for a sunrise walk to the pier (about 2 miles rt) and an afternoon float. Great neighborhood, very convenient to shops & restaurants but also quiet and tucked away on a dead-end street. Beginning to end, our communication with Beach & Bluff Realty was excellent and we enjoyed every minute of our stay here.

We enjoyed our stay in this cozy cottage on Hanalei Bay with a view of the bay through beautiful trees--it was hard to pull ourselves away. It had everything we needed--the outdoor shower is so convenient and there are lots of books to read if it rains. The cottage is on a lawn shared with several other rentals so we got to know our fellow visitors!

My husband planned this heavenly trip for my birthday. It was everything we were hoping for, and more. From the "welcome basket" with many goodies, to the beautiful views out our front window (better in person), to the amazing covered porch to sit during the occasional showers, and of course the best part, the mere steps to the beach. We experienced a well stocked home with everything you might need and a comfortable king bed. Everything you could hope for. We had an amazing time. Thank you!

Arriving at Moon Cottage was like arriving home. We have stayed here before and were so happy to return. Several updates have occurred that made our week comfortable and relaxing. Everything we needed was there. A wonderful location, very quiet neighbors, walks on the beach and peaceful times enjoying the view of the ocean from the large windows all added to wonderful memories
