Boulay Inn is nestled on Kauai’s south side in rural Omao. It is your own secluded home away from home with all the amenities to ensure your comfort. There is a spacious airy living area, a queen sized bed, tiled shower and a verdant yard outside your windows. Your accommodations are airy and comfortable with a combination of ceiling fans and sliding glass doors. We have tried to think of everything you might possibly need for your island home. Cooking facilities, entertainment center, including cable TV and Wifi are all available. No need to lug your hair dryer, there is one in your bath. A washer and dryer are provided because we don’t want you to spend any of your Hawaiian vacation in a laundromat.
Omao (meaning green in Hawaiian) is a convenient hub for all east, west, and south shore activities. Sunny Poipu Beach is just minutes away with swimming beaches and all sorts of water sports such as snorkeling, diving, surfing, boogie or stand up boarding. We have most beach accessories for your convenience, including beach towels, chairs, cooler, boogie boards, and snorkel gear. Remember to bring your sunscreen.
If golf is your game, choose from three beautiful courses within a fifteen minute drive.
Old Koloa Town, Poipu and the surrounding area abound with dining and shopping choices. There are over thirty restaurants within a ten minute drive and several areas with "lots of different kinds of shops". Koloa town has two grocery stores, a pharmacy and a bank. You won’t have to go far to find what you need.

Perfect location for a romantic vacation in beautiful Kauai. Great apartment location on grounds of beautiful home with many places of interest nearby. Hostess is gracious and welcoming. We felt right at home. We loved being there and would recommend to all who want a great place to stay while enjoying paradise.

A lovely place to stay in Kauai. Close to Poipu beach which we loved. Sheri provided everything we needed for a great 3 night stay. Would recommend.

Would stay here again. Quiet and beautiful neighborhood away from the resorts. Close and central to everything on the South shore and also good home base for West side activities. Sheri and Jim are super friendly and helpful people, around for anything you need but also give you your space. They even left us some nice welcome gifts and Let us use beach equipment. wifi worked well and place was clean.
Would (and plan on) staying here again. Fair price - grab it while you can!

Spacious and clean with all the accommodations! Used snorkel and beach equipment at nearby Poipu Beach. Safe and friendly neighborhood. Felt truly relaxed being away from any cities or resorts. Lots of activities and restaurants within a reasonable distance.
Comfortable bed! Awesome wrap around porch with views of the garden island. Hope to be back here very soon for another stay.

This was a great place to stay. The house is updated and has everything you need. The location was the best as well because we didnt have to spend a lot of time in the car. Overall, we are extremely satisfied. Thank you Sheri for being the best host!

We have been more than pleased with our stay. The place is adorable, with so many special little touches and some sweet welcome gifts from the owners. It felt so safe that we did not feel the need to lock any doors when going outside. Everything of interest to us was an easy drive away. They also provided so much useful information about the island in their Welcome book. Sheri is such a sweetheart and a real pleasure to converse with. As an extra bonus, they provided all beach accessories like chairs, towels and snorkeling gear. We are very thankful to the owners for the lovely stay at their very special place and look forward to returning in the future. This is the place to stay if you are visiting Kauai.

This is a small, cute space that is very well equipped in every way.
What make this rental stand out were the hosts, Jim and Sheri who were very helpful for any of our needs.
The location is a plus with quick access to the main highway going to Waimea and Lihue and only 15 minutes to Costco. It is in a local neighborhood on a county road so there is some road noise and dog barking.
The views from the balcony are nice where there is enough space for drinks, snacks or a meal.
Inside, there is an abundance of kitchen utensils, towels and condiments, the kitchen is functional. There is a counter with stools but no table. The hosts added a small table on the deck for us on request.
The bedroom has lots of storage and closet space, the bathroom was nice, the medicine cabinet was full of goodies.
Comfort wise there were a couple of issues that we brought up to the hosts who have since changed and improved those levels dramatically.
Jim and Sheri are so nice and without a doubt their aim is to make your stay here perfect.
Because of the comfort upgrades we are adding a 5th star to our rating.
