Once we arrived, we knew right away we chose the perfect place. Loved the location, amenities, complex and overall feel. Kihei is the best area on Maui, in our opinion. The condo was walking distance to beach, restaurants, grocery, and shops. Hosts provided abundant local information and were super responsive to questions. Check-in process was simple and straight forward. Beach chairs, cooler, umbrella and other items were a nice touch. Kitchen was well equipped. Utilized onsite BBqs quite often. Pool area was great, clean and quiet. Would return in future.

My host Theresa was just awesome the check in and communication was excellent, the location is just perfect you really don’t need to rent a car . The beautiful beach is literally 500 steps and there is great I mean great restaurants literally right around the corner. There’s also a grocery store , liquor store very close, Maui is so laid back and peaceful you will love the property and the location is the best on the island.

Just spent a week in Maui, staying at the Maui Banyon. We enjoyed it very much. The room was well suited to us and our needs. Love how close it is to walk for snacks, meals and a little shopping

The owner of this property can not be trusted. She was a great communicator until we showed up for our trip and the condo was not cleaned from the previous guest. We could not reach the owner via phone text or email. VRBO had us send pictures of the dirty condo and paid for us to spend the night in a hotel an hour away which was not the accommodations we had booked and paid for. We had to pay for parking and resort fees in additional to losing our first day in Maui dealing with this nightmare! The owner reached out the next day with apologies stating this never happens but if you look back in May 2022 she did the same thing to someone else. She offered to refund our cleaning deposit and of course my expectations were to refund us for the night we did not stay at her unit in order to entice us to continue with our stay verses having VRBO find us a different property to stay at. We agreed to stay at our original booking. All was well until I started Inquiring about my refund. She made up lies and refused to communicate with me or VRBO and refused to provide us with the refund she promised. We worked with VRBO but they are unable to make a property owner issue a refund. So now we are in the process of disputing the charges either our credit card company. Big bummer to my first trip to Maui. I would stay far away from this owner and her property / so many other nice places to stay!

Beautiful suite for our stay in Maui! It had everything we needed for cooking some great meals and for our beach adventures in Kihei. The Maui Banyan is right across the street from Kamaole Beach 2. Theresa was very responsive and we would definitely stay here again!
