Ho’ona Hale’s new owners love their delightful Poipu beach cottage which has been tastefully upgraded and includes air conditioning. From the lovely covered lanai one can savor the white water ocean views, whether it be in the gentle morning light, vibrant sunset or awash in moonlight.
The property has an outdoor, enclosed Bamboo shower. Another great snorkeling beach is a short, easy walk from Ho’ona Hale as well or take a stroll over to the Shops at Kukui`ula, where you will find the finest food and shopping on the Island. Allerton’s National Tropical Botanical Gardens is a must see also located less than a mile up the road.

This was the perfect location for us as we have stayed at other places in the area and enjoyed this part of the island best. The covered porch was great as there were so many rainy days, allowing us to still enjoy our time out doors.

This is our second stay at Hoona Hale with over a dozen visits to Hawaii. This property is extremely well maintained, the views are incredible. Extra care is throughout the home -- beautiful linens, fresh flowers,every possible extra -- from beach accessories to laundry soap. We feel so much more connected to the spirit of Hawaii when staying in a house vs a hotel. We hope to return again and again.

Great location and the cottage is a perfect set up for one or two couples, or a young family. Sunset viewing from the property and walk to nearby restaurants and shopping.Great shower in the updated bathroom.Would rent this property again

We had a nice stay in this clean home. Enjoyed the porch lounging morning and afternoons. The home is well maintained and everything was working except a few of the roller blinds. Loved the added nature bonus of parakeeting roosting for the night at sunset in the palm trees near the house. AC was an added bonus bc the house gets warm even with shades drawn so thank you for having it--was helpful to have a cool night sleep. The floral arrangement welcome was an unexpected nice touch-wonderful surprise!

This cottage was very delightful and well equipped for our vacation.Quiet street, great views and wonderful sunsets. Also a nice hidden beach(Baby Beach) to hang out. Each night a flock of green parrots would roast in our palm trees. We had nice walks around the neighborhood.Mahalo, Poipu365

Our stay at Hoona Hale was fantastic! The home was very well maintained, beautifully decorated and very well stocked. The property is perfectly located for great cross breezes through the home. The outdoor shower was a real treat. Every detail was absolutely perfect. The closeness to Baby Beach and the view from the property were outstanding. We love the South Shore and have previously stayed at either a large hotel or larger condo properties. The cottage gave us a much more relaxed feeling. Hearing the ocean waves while having coffee on the front porch. We hope to return again and again.
