This was the most amazing home! We had 5 families with kids ages 3-16 and everyone had a blast. The private beach made for amazing sunrises and sunsets and the kids had plenty of fun playing volleyball and swimming! It’s close to Kamaole beaches and a many restaurants! Try Pizza Madness! It’s a quick walk across the Main Road. This is going to be our family vacation home for years to come! Thank you Mike and Family for an amazing visit in Maui! A hui hou kākou!

Great location for a family of any size. Wonderful amenities, right on the beach, chairs, towels, everything you would need. My the owner is such a great guy and very accommodating
We "loved" it here!!!! This "home" was perfect for our family to celebrate our 65th anniversary. The little apts let our adult children enjoy some private time. And, the huge yard and convenient downstairs kitchen helped with our evening outdoor dinners and enjoyable family conversations.I personally enjoyed the early mornings just as dawn was breaking. The sound of Palms in the wind. It was unforgettable!Our host, Mike, was so helpful and generous; we will never forget him. He is Ohana!!! Mahalo,Esther, Mike and the rest of our Ohana

This is a great location with the beach steps from the back door. Mike is an excellent host, sharing many tips on places to visit plus a pie our last night. There were turtles on the beach daily and we even got to see a Monk seal. There were 11 of us ranging from 5 years to senior adult and we were all happy with the property and location.
The vacation home and Mike being our host made our family vacation exceptional. The home was clean, beautiful and the ocean in the backyard was just amazing. Loved walking the beach at night to see all the turtles. Mike was always helping us out with any questions we had and recommendations. Giving us delicious banana bread a couple times was so generous. We couldn’t have asked for a nicer place to stay or a better host.
We stayed for 7 days and 6 nights with 4 families and a total of 12 people. It was a great stay! Low key area and building. Lots of beach equipment included in rental. It is an older unit, so don't expect luxury. Expect to have a great time on a semi-private beach, large back yard, and beautiful sunsets.

The property was perfect. The host was amazing. The property had lots of swimming gear and lots of toys for playing in the sand.

We live in Kihei and had our families visit from the east coast. It was the PERFECT house to have multiple family members stay in as there are separate entrances and spaces. Everyone had the most amazing time. You cannot beat the location or view. Truly it made our celebration week once in a lifetime and we wouldn’t change a thing!!! Wish we could do it every year!
Met and exceeded our expectations in all ways. All 14 of us could not say enough. Michael was available, informative but not overbearing. He also provided fishing, snorkeling gear, water shoes, and backyard toys. Even expressed old Hawaiian hospitality by bringing enough fresh fruit to treat all of us. We hated to leave can't wait to go back.
The grounds and the beach access was amazing! Our four families each had lots of outdoor space for hanging out together, and the luxury of privacy in our own separate space when needed. The host, Michael, was gracious and available. I would absolutely stay here again. Mahalo, Michael.
14 of us, four generations, spent a fabulous week celebrating our 60th anniversary. Started off a bit rocky when one unit’s AC died, but our host Mike managed to get it repaired within a couple of days. Family members spent the week, swimming with turtles, fishing, golfing, paddle boarding, playing volleyball, pétanque, corn hole toss and rummikub. A monk seal spent a rare couple days on our beach along with a giant turtle. We spent every morning and most dinners together, on site, enjoying the beautiful sunsets. Mike was a wonderful host, with a wealth of knowledge. He even surprised us with stick donuts one day. We will cherish these memories and hope to return to this happy place in the near future.
The property was gorgeous, tucked back into a quiet corner of the neighborhood, and just feet from a beautiful beach. All of the rooms were well furnished, and provided ample space for our family to stay. We highly recommended the property for large families, or groups of friends, and are looking forward to the next chance we can visit again.
The property is very comfortable, clean and in a prime location right on the beach (including turtles). Mike is a phenomenal host: very accommodating, gracious and generous (surprised us with two pies from a local spot and wine and sparkling wine to help us celebrate our wedding). I would definitely recommend this property to any larger group.
What an absolutely incredible stay!!! Maui Mike made us part of his ohana. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was just right for our family! We truly appreciated how kind and generous he was and the overall VRBO rental and experience was wonderful!! Michael is the epitome of a Premier Host! The place is beautiful and comfortable but it’s the hospitality of the owner that makes it a great place to stay. Mahali Nui Michael, we’ll be back again for sure!
Each family had their own unit with kitchen and bathroom. Beautiful beach location with plenty of on-site activities. Easy walk to dining and shopping. The host Michael was fabulous, very responsive and friendly. We couldn’t have found a more perfect location for our family vacation!
Michael was the perfect host! We were on a family vacation: 9 adults/ 2 children 11 and 2. The way the house is divided is perfect for a family. We divided our family into the 4 different :suites" within the home so we each had our own space with separate entrances, bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, however we were still together. We used the two downstairs "suite" kitchens and outside seating to prepare meals/hangout together A smaller family could just use the downstairs (right) side suite that had a master bedroom and a sleeper sofa. A medium family could use the downstairs (left) side suite that had a master bedroom, a bedroom with 2 twin beds and a sleeper sofa.
The property is as beautiful as it looks. A walk down the grassy lawn ending up at at a private beach(people went by on walks and there was a public access point down the road a way, but since it is a residential area no one was hanging out on the beach.) The water was shallow enough for the 2 year old to be safe and play. If you walk down the beach to the left at night giant sea turtles sleep there. And really big toads hop around on the lawn at night.
Michael provides everything you need to have fun, boogie boards, chairs, fishing stuff, coolers, beach towels which he also lets you borrow when you visit other beaches. He has a shared laundry room with an ice machine. Check the cupboards before you shop as there were lots of leftover spices, cooking oil, foil, birthday candles...
