This was a fantastic place to stay. The master has a phenomenal view and a shower with great water pressure. All the rooms had their own bathrooms and were great (no views though). The kitchen was great for our group of 8 adults. The beach is outstanding with great snorkeling and you really would never have to leave. We will be back!
I hate to write this review because everyone may book all the dates. This is honestly the best unit at Makenna Surf. I’ve stayed at four other units on property. We had a corner view ground floor which was the best view but the amenities here are top notch. We had four kids and four adults. The boys had one room and the girls had another. Five bathrooms was a major plus for showers I enjoyed the den when my husband was snoring The kitchen was the best part. So many plates and cups and silverware. The utensils weren’t a collection of junk. We had every single thing we needed. Three coffee makers! Two dish washers! We ate in enough to enjoy every part of the kitchen. Loved the balcony off the kitchen that allowed us to get out of the sun. Little Beach was just below the deck so we could watch the kids snorkel to see turtles. I can’t say enough about this unit. As always the ground crew and housekeeping were wonderful. Mahalo to the owner, management and crew.
This was our second time staying at Makena Surf. The condo was exquisite. It was clean, well-appointed and had everything we needed for a wonderful vacation. Ali’i Resorts manages the property and they did an amazing job of communicating check in, check out, and answered any questions we had while we stayed, They provided suggestions about excursions and places to rent snorkel equipment. Overall we had a fantastic time and would definitely stay here again.
This unit overlooking the beach and water in Makena is very well appointed and perfect for families.
Everything about the condo was fabulous!
It was well stocked and a great location.
All the furnishings were like new and very clean.
The one thing we needed and that It could’ve used was beach umbrellas.
There were 7 of us and there was PLENTY of room for everyone. The views and lanais were amazing. The building and amenities are very dated - but the unit itself is updated. There was every appliance, kitchen, bar, coffee item you could think of - except a measuring cup of any worth! We didnt like the stove - as we are all used to gas and the electric stove was challenging.
Lastly, we were very disappointed with the lack of housekeeping - blaming it on COVID when they could arrange for many times where we were out of the unit for hours. Dropping off towels and sheets to people that are used to staying in a hotel...was simply a waste.
Other than that - AMAZING!! Worth every penny!
It's as lovely and relaxing as you could dream about. Perfect location, incredible views, well appointed, temporary dream home. Plenty of space for 7 adults, never felt crowded.
