The location was perfect, the house was gorgeous! We loved everything, especially the pool.
This location is perfect if you are looking for the beach, views and privacy.You have everything you need in the home- great furniture, amazing decks and plenty of room. Property manager assisted with information that allowed us to have baby items delivered to the house, among other things. Very good communication.You will not be disappointed staying here.

The house is the first in the area I’ve been to with both sunrise and sunsets visible from the point. Very nicely furnished home, great ocean views. You won’t be disappointed!!
We had a lovely time in Haena at this rental property. It was our first time in Kauai and the beauty of the island did not disappoint. The house was everything we needed it to be and it was unique that there was a pool. It is a little bit of a drive to many tourist attractions so be sure you have a rental car and if you have kids coordinate child care early because not everyone is willing to go into Haena. We had a lovely time and hope to visit again very soon!
Proximity to beach, natural light, and tranquility above expected. They charged for heating the pool, which was unexpected--its possible that I missed it in the contract. Overall Great experience. Will return someday soon!
This basically beautiful house looked better in the photos than in reality. It would really benefit from some TLC before guests check in. No one will meet you upon check-in, so you have to figure out how everything works by yourself. It smelled a bit stale and was all closed up when we arrived. No welcoming flowers, fruit or wine bottle but plenty of notes of 'Do Not...'For a rental cost of over 1800 per night I have higher expectations!!
The house is great, air-conditioning, the grill, the oven - all worked well, location can’t be beat. A pool is a nice addition - refreshing swim after dinner, watching the stars was cool :-)
House was beautiful and very comfortable. Having air conditioning was very nice in Kauai. The location was exceptional and right on the water. It was only 15 minute walk to Tunnels Beach. Excellent stay. I would highly recommend the house to anybody.

Our stay was nothing short of magical! The house was even better than described. Beds were extremely comfortable, kitchen was stocked with high quality items. We loved the games and books in the home. The pool was so much fun. Great rental!
This was our second stay at Holo Makani—beautiful setting, fabulous house with everything you could ever need, and excellent property management. We have traveled many places and stayed in many rentals but we are all in agreement that this is our favorite!

The beach outside the property is not swimmable, as described in the listing, but there are many spots nearby. The house had everything we needed to dine in, plenty of towels and great laundry room. The kids also loved the private pool!
Being new to this island, we were expecting some rain (and were pleasantly surprised with great weather!) but we were not aware that this time of year the strong swells/tide washes out the snorkeling areas, so we had to alter plans as the nearby snorkeling beaches were not swimmable. Even so, it was a beautiful area and so peaceful just listening to the ocean. We can’t wait to come back!

Remote location, but yet 10 minutes or so to grocery/ restaurants / shops. Home has just about everything you could ask for. Felt guilty that we did not share the place by inviting friends or family... Blessed to have been able to stay here... We will be back!

Holo Makani is even better than it looks! It was the perfect house and the perfect location for exploring the north shore. We especially loved listening to the water all night and the beautiful views from the house. The house has everything you need for preparing meals, spending time at the beach or just relaxing on the lanai. We will definitely be returning!

15 min walk on the beach to Tunnels, 20 min drive to town. Great views and very comfortable. Highly recommended.
