Lovely, well-managed property for a family of four. Air conditioning was nice and location very close to both the beach and downtown Hanalei was perfect. They also had ample beach gear so we had everything we needed. Highly recommended!

Wonderful house and layout, great indoor/outdoor spaces, about a minute from the beach walking. We appreciated that everything we needed for the beach was clean/available. Well-stocked kitchen. Exceptional place to spend a week as a family - kids, parents and grandparents all loved it.Two appliance notes to help Makana in the future:Dishwasher - isn’t the best at fully cleaning dishes. We’ve run into similar issues with GE dishwashers elsewhere as well. Wound up doing a lot of secondary cleaning,The A/C is exceptional upstairs in the small bedrooms- very helpful keeping bedrooms cool during nap times for kids. The main bedroom A/C upstairs output less cool air than the smaller rooms and may need maintenance. The downstairs A/C unit is undersized for cooling the space during the heat of the day. Mornings and evenings are no problem, but if you’re planning to spend time indoors on a hot summer day, be prepared for the temperature to go up.

This house was nothing short of amazing! Perfect location, steps to Hanalei Bay and easily walkable to all restaurants and shops on the main road. The house itself was top notch - I couldn't believe all of the high end touches. GE Cafe appliances, Caraway cookware, designer bedding - so many thoughtful and beautiful touches throughout the whole home. Beds were super comfortable and the outdoor space was great for lounging and eating with the family. We used the hot tub every evening, and the outdoor shower was great after long beach days. It was also so well stocked with beach chairs, a cooler, umbrellas and even a surf board that my husband used. The rental company was very communicative and easy to work with - this is our second time staying in one of their homes and we will definitely stay again! A perfect rental house for a perfect trip!

Thank you for hosting us for a fabulous stay. The home was decorated well and had an awesome outdoor patio area for BBQing and spending time together which we enjoyed multiple nights. Walking distance to the beach and restaurants.

We stayed here with family of 5 - kids 12, 14, 15 - each had their own room upstairs (good sizes) and shared a bathroom which was good size. There are AC units that do a decent job but unfortunately no unit in primary on main so that was a little warm especially for my husband but it was ok. Loved that there was beach gear and bikes - and beach is so close! Excellent comms from the property manager - asked a couple questions via email and had responses within minutes.
