Place was great, check-in was a little difficult but probably my fault for not making sure I had the correct information (email) upon arrival. The front desk, while not directly responsible, was helpful in my shortfall. Awesome view, comfortable temporary living, and close enough to Hanalei Bay. One-Way bridges were kind of a pain but, I personally, would deal with it again to stay in paradise.

I can’t imagine a more beautiful spot for a condo in all of Hawaii. The view is beyond stupendous. The condo has been updated in the past year with beautiful new bathrooms and updates to the kitchen. Very, very nice. The grounds are lovely. We had hoped to spend our mornings and evenings on the deck/lanai. But on our third day, the trade winds arrived. The way this condo is situated made it impossible to be on the deck because the direct, gale force winds were very uncomfortable. We noticed the owner of the condo next door had a wind screen he used when on his deck. That definitely would help.And, unfortunately, the windows were not in great shape. A new slider has been ordered. But other windows on the front needed cleaning. We wiped down a couple. Because of the wind, rain and nearness to the shore, it’s difficult to keep them dry and clean. I guess that’s the price you pay for the beautiful location.We’ve never stayed anywhere with such an exquisite view, but it had its downside. If the owner gets a windscreen, we will be back.

There are problems with the sliding doors, screens of the main deck area,.... these have been a problem for a long time and the maintenance is not done as you can see alot of debris in the tracks. For the price the place should be immaculate. Even though you are on the ocean, windows that give you the view should have been cleaned for that daily price. Even a few times a week or the tools to do it yourself at least available. Dissapointed, that i s what you are there for the view. The chairs on the deck are the worst in the resort and not comfortable at all. straight back old wood chairs..... really.... for the price?

Communication with the rental co. was prompt & helpful, and the condo was clean, comfortable & well-equipped, including beach chairs and a cooler to borrow. Would love to come back again and highly recommend. perfect for a couple or parents w/1-2 children.

We enjoyed daily morning and evening walks, sometimes all the way to Ke’e Beach. We saw Hawaiian monk seals, turtles, interesting pathways to cross streams. Night sky filled with stars and stars is another thing we loved at G1.

This property had an amazing view as you are literally steps away from the ocean. We could not swim or go into the water in this area because of the strong currents. Hanalei Bay for swimming and Anini Beach for snorkeling were a short drive away. The condominium was large and sufficient for our needs. It is old and because it is close to the ocean things are rusted and in need of repair. The lanai porch light did not work which was a bummer, but everything else that needed repair was insignificant. There were plenty of supplies (bring your own bath soap) and it was clean enough for us. This condominium is all about the location and the view.

This unit's location was exactly what I was hoping for and would recommend it to anyone wanting views and convenient beach access. The interior was ready for a remodel, but was comfortable, clean, and functional. (Who goes to Kauai to stay inside anyway?) We will definitely try to stay in this particular condo again!
