The property was in a convenient location for the volcano park and some beaches. It was quiet and a beautiful location. The only problem we had was the water pressure was not very good.
Excellent location. Very quiet and comfortable. Great mattresses! Very happy they allowed a single night stay-wish we could’ve stayed longer. Will definitely return to this location in the future.

Great location, close to the park. After a long day of hiking and exploring coming back to a home was lovely. Cooked a meal and played family games. Listening to the frogs at night and the birds to wake us up. It was a good stay for us.

We stayed close to Volcano National park so we would have quick access to park in day and night for viewing. When 11th episode of eruption occurred on 2/25/2025 it took us only 10 minutes to get to the national park.
Perfect for 2-3 people. Very clean and cozy. Close to the park so you can do nighttime viewing of volcano. Easy access and very communicative just.
Clean, cozy, comfortable. Perfect for our family. Two parents, two young adult kids (19, 21). Very close to the park, quiet, everything we needed. Host was a good communicator. We got to see the volcano erupting, which was a huge bonus.
Perfect place to get a head start at Volcano National park. Exactly what we needed, the grounds were lush and beautiful.
Overall was clean. Stuffy, they could use some ceiling fans but less than 10 minutes to the park entrance

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our three nights at the cottage. While nothing fancy, the house is neat, clean and has a well equipped kitchen. It is also very close to the entry of Volcanoes National Park. The owner was great at communicating and very pleasant to work with. I strongly recommend staying here during your visit to the National Park.
House was close to VNP which was great. Wished there was a usable cooler and containers to pack a lunch. Felt like the towels and coffee maker were old but everything was serviceable. Owner very responsive.
We loved our one night stay at Danielle’s cottage. After a long drive from waikoloa and visiting volcano national park, her cottage was warm and welcoming. I would most definitely stay there again when we return.
Comfortable, with tasteful decor. Lovely backyard with landscaping that provided privacy even with neighbors next door. Nice to have washer and dryer.
We thoroughly enjoyed this private rainforest home! It was super close to Volcanoes National Park, where we explored many trails without all the rush of a tour group. There were some really good restaurants nearby too. We highly recommend this place!
The only downside was that it could have used a toaster and a new coffee pot, which was on it's last leg.
This was our second stay and we loved it just like 2 years ago. The verdant tropical rain forest it is tucked into is terrific and and great place to have happy hour right in your backyard, We difinitely recommend a stay here while exploring Volcano NP.
Charming cottage surrounded by giant ferns - quiet, peaceful, private. Felt instantly like home. And just 5 min away from the Volcanoes Park entrance. We could plan morning trips, home for lunch and another trip in the afternoon. And did we mention that Danielle is a gracious host..
The cottage was simple, clean, quiet, and comfortable and we appreciated the friendly, seamless check-in/out process. The kitchen is very well appointed (all the pots/pans you’d need plus some added bonuses such as a spice rack), and the location was great (just a few miles from the park entrance). The cottage is in a neighborhood, but the gorgeous vegetation around the property makes it feel like you are alone in the jungle. I was excited to see some endemic bird species right in the yard, and our kids (8 and 11) thought having their own personal lava tube was pretty darn neat. Thanks for the great stay!

We loved this cottage! It was in a beautiful location, tucked into the rain forest and close to Volcanoes National Park. There were so many nice amenities and the decor was perfect. We felt at home there and only wished we could have stayed longer.

This little house was perfect, we only stayed one night but if we come back we will definitely stay a few! Would love a celling fan in the master and a fire pit out back would make it perfect!!!
