This beautiful home went above and beyond. We were all blown away with this home. There were 14 of us, 4 different families and with the layout of the main house and the boat and cottage house, it could not have worked out any better. Checkin was a breeze---and any immediate questions we had were answered right away. The kitchen was better stocked than my own and so much fun to work in. It was also nice to have so many beach toys and items available. If we are ever lucky enough to get back, this rental would be at the top of our list.

Looking for the top of the line on the best beach on Oahu ? ....the Walker House is the place for you!Fabulous location...just like the photo depicts.Everything about the three piece home totally first class....kitchen ware includes everything you could possibly need. Spectacular view out the bay window of the spacious family room. Clean as a whistle. The owner has thought of everything to include two new washers and dryers.It was such fun in 2019 that we all wanted to reprise the experience in 2025.Steven and Patty to very good care of us....flexible and responsive.Note that it is quite pricey but worth every penny if you are looking for a truly exquisite family experience.

The Walker House was the perfect place to bring our growing family. We had ages 8 months to 81 years old in our group and it served us all well. The views are incredible and 100 year old house is a great blend of traditional Hawaiian with updated amenities. Everything worked as expected and promised.
The property was amazing. The home had massive windows to enjoy the ocean views and the breezes along with great ameneties like ceiling fans and fully equipped kitchen. The location was perfect as well as the family could snorkle just off the deck and also go for hike close by. The management team was extremely responsive and flexible.

Our group had a fabulous relaxing stay at the Walker House. The great room with its wall of windows right over the water is amazing. When we walked around the wall from the kitchen and saw the view, all of us said "Wow!".The kitchen is well stocked, the beds and bedrooms comfortable (although note there is only a king mattress in the cottage's primary bedroom), and there are plenty of beach chairs and toys in the garage. The decor is chic but comfortable. This is a superb 'beachy' beach house in a great location.

This was a vacation of a lifetime for our family. The property was perfect for us. The views were beyond amazing. When you were in the expansive great room you felt as if you were on the beach. The cottage and boat house were perfect for the families with little ones. They had their own space for down time and napping. The garage had everything you would need for the beach; beach chairs, umbrellas, sand toys, beach wagon, coolers and snorkeling gear. The kitchen was well stocked with kitchen ware and pantry items. We did a lot of cooking with our large family. Two washers and two dryers was a definite plus. We really could not have enjoyed our stay at this property more.
The property has spectacular beachfront views. The great room was everyone's favorite room. It has huge windows which overlook the ocean and has plenty of room for everyone to gather. The Cottage and Boat house were perfect for the family members with little ones. They had their own space for down time and napping. The kitchen was well stocked with dishware, pots & pans, cooking utensils, small appliances and pantry items. We did a lot of cooking with our large family. The property had everything that you could want for the beach; beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards , sand toys, snorkeling gear, coolers, a beach wagon, floats, etc. Property mangers were very easy to work with and very accommodating. We honestly could not of had a better experience. It was a trip of a lifetime for our family and the perfect property for us.

The house location cannot be beat! We saw sea turtles swimming by & on early mornings it felt like we had our own private beach. The house was well appointed & waking up every morning to the breathtaking view of the sun coming up over the ocean was the best. You know when college aged kids are up by 6am watching a sunrise it must be spectacular. There was enough room for our family of 11 that ranged from 80yrs old to 5 yrs old. There was enough parking for 4 vehicles which worked out perfectly for us. We enjoyed getting to enjoy the slower side of the island & really feel like a local. The house is close enough to local coffee shops, shopping, etc. that you don’t have to go far for anything. Everyone is ready to go back & there is no where else they want to stay!

From the moment we walked in and saw the window to ceiling ocean views, we knew had hit the jackpot. An incredible home...nothing was missing. Steven who manages the home was accessible before and during our stay for any questions we had. The home was immaculate and stunning...we did not want to leave...worth every penny!!!

The location is excellent and the home is very well provisioned with all the necessary items and then some.
The live orchids were a special touch enjoyed by many of us.
The separate spaces worked well for our family of 9, including two infant grandchildren.
The rental agent and property manager were very helpful and communicative.

The home is in a very quiet area. There was a bit of traffic on the street as it is a one way street. Was very hard to get to the beach from the homes stairs as there were only large stones down there. The public walkway was just one house away which was not bad. We did need to drive a ways to get to anything. The home is old but very nice. We also got to use the boathouse and the cottage which were cute. All places had a kitchen which were well equipped. There is a hiking trail close to the house. They had a lot of toys and equipment for the beach which is nice if you stay there at the beach. Loved the view could see diamond head, the waves hitting the wall and the sun.

Absolute best vacation location ever. In all my travels around the world, this home was the best ever. The historic home did not disappoint. It's rare that photos of a home match up to the reality. In this case, the reality outdid the photos. How can you complain about a beach front historic home that you can call your own, if only for a few days? Impeccably maintained with 100 year old charm. Beautiful. We will return as often as possible! WE have already recommended this location as a must-see destination for our friends. Huge windows looking out over the crystal blue sea, cozy living space, updated kitchen appliances, comfortable and enticing areas to sit and just soak it all in. Magnificent!

Walker beach house was probably one of the few house that still have access to the famous soft sandy beach at Lanikai. We enjoyed the houses easy access to the beach, however, the house was broken in on the 2nd to the last night of our staying, more than $10,000 worth of jewelry and belongings were stolen. There were signs in the house to remind us to lock away our valuables, but my designer bags didn’t fit the small safe in the closet. We filed the police report, and they asked if there is any security cameras installed since the last burglary just a few months ago. We were also told by the police that there were few other homes were burglarized that week. I suggested to the property manager, he said he will bring it up to the owner. We understand this can happen to any where and anyone. We have been coming to Hawaii every summer for the past 20years and this was the first time it happened. I just want to bring this to the owner’s attention to install a security camera .

This property view is unbeatable and one of the few available licensed short-term rentals. One of the most beautiful vacations home with all the amenities, direct access to the beach and a short bike ride to Kailua. You won't be disappointed.
