The Volcano Rainforest Estate & Lodge was perfect for our Volcano getaway. It’s a beautiful, well built home on a gorgeous property. The kitchen had everything we needed and the dining room is stunning. Beds are very comfortable. The property management team was responsive and helpful. I highly recommend this property. We can’t wait to return!

Easy check-in, good directions and beautifully clean. Easily most beautiful home and setting of any place we stayed. Great communication from the beginning includkng when we needed to move our stay a day later. Helpful guide book, games for kids and beautiful outdoor setting. Unfortunately didn't get to the hot tub as rainy in evenings, but sti enjoyed the outdoor space. Excellent experience.

The Volcano Rainforest Estate is an awesome property. The home is very comfortable and is perfect for family or a group of friends. The design and layout is excellent. Highlights include the large dining room separate bathrooms for each bedroom and the wrap around lanai. We enjoyed our evenings listening to the sounds of the rainforest. Truly peaceful. The location is great for accessing the National Park and Hilo area. Jenny and team are outstanding hosts. Their communication was excellent starting with the reservation process through checkout. We would stay again if in the area.
Our family recently enjoyed another fantastic stay at the Volcano Rainforst Lodge. As repeat guests, having stayed at this beautiful home multiple times in the past, we continue to be impressed with its excellent condition and unique charm.The home truly is a one-of-a-kind home, and its proximity to Volcano while seculsion and privacy makes it an ideal choice. Our family of six had an excellent time, and we look forward to returning again in the future.

Beautiful property in a quiet setting. The living spaces were clean and nicely furnished with comfortable couches and beds. There were six adults and there was plenty of space for everyone.

This home was absolutely wonderful! If you are looking for a peaceful, secluded vacation then the Volcano House is perfect. Plus, it is only 15 minutes to Kīlauea. The property managers are amazing! I highly recommend it!

Great location, beautiful and relaxing surroundings
This is exactly what we were looking for on our trip to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. It was only 10 minutes from the park. The place was easy to find, even in the dark. The house is magnificent. Everything was in great condition, clearly well maintained and clean. Above all else, the host was fantastic. She provided very clear instructions and was available to help with any questions. She also went above and beyond and messaged to let us know that an eruption was happening in the park! We were able to head right over and got to observe a natural phenomenon that is unbelievable to see. We probably would have missed it if not for the notification from the host. We are so glad we stayed here and cannot recommend it highly enough. If you are looking for a relaxing, quiet stay by the park, you found it!

This property was beautiful and carefully maintained. My only complaint would be that the driveway was difficult to navigate in the dark. Even so, we all loved it. Very close to the national park. We entered the park multiple times as it was so convenient.
Beautiful place! We stayed here to visit the Volcanoes NP. It is just less than 10 minutes away. Would definitely book this place again!
We thoroughly enjoyed the design and spaciousness of this lovely home! Listening to the night sounds of the "jungle" while walking around on the wrap around deck was awesome. Sipping my coffee in the dining room in the morning listening to the sound of silence recharged my soul! It was a great location to stay to enjoy Volcano National Park.
Loved this beautiful, handcrafted home tucked into an amazing rainforest. Loads of space for 4 adults and 2 children. Sitting outside listening to the night sounds of the rainforest was unforgettable. This house has lots of interesting artwork—so I will say that if you have an inquisitive 4-year-old in your group, you will have to keep vigilant watch!! Getting to the national park and Hilo was easy.
This house deserves more stars than 5. The one category that I rated 4 stars was website accuracy because the photos don’t do it justice, from the house itself to the magnificent views from inside each window.
Our family group consisted of a five year old, his parents and one set of grandparents and each of us loved this place. We appreciated the cleanliness, comfort and beauty of the setting. There is a lovely wraparound porch and, as the description says, each bedroom has its own bathroom. Beds are comfy and bedding provides warmth for the cold nights.
The managers are always accessible and provided immediate help with a couple of issues. The first was with the WiFi, which once reset properly worked great. The second was the water heater which gave up the ghost our last full day. Water heaters don’t last forever and we just happened to be there when this one gave out so we had no hot water for showers or dishwashing that day. We very much appreciate the way this was handled by the managers and owners. I should also note that we discovered that at least two of the bathrooms have on-demand water heaters under the sinks so there was still access to some hot water.
There is a lot to see on the big island and we plan to be back. We hope to be able to stay in this house again next time we visit.
This house is surrounded by amazing natural beauty just like the pictures show. Check out the CD collection and enjoy some music while lounging by the fireplace. House runs a little cold so bring warm socks!
Our little slice of Hawaiian paradise
Driving into the short private drive up to the house was like driving onto the set of Indian Jones or Jurassic Park without the dinosaurs. Pulling up to the house itself revealed a gorgeous well furnished home with attention to details. Tropical woods throughout, and well equipped modern kitchen, and three large bedrooms each with an on sweat bathroom. Huge picture windows look onto a beautifully landscaped tropical garden.

We enjoyed dipping in the hot tub each evening and morning before setting off on our daily adventures.
The town of Hilo is about a 30 minute drive away and local dining options in Volcano are few, but on the plus side you are just minutes away from the Volcano National Park. That is the only minor draw back to this location.
The home is beautiful, clean and very comfortable! We especially enjoyed being in the middle of nature, whether we were enjoying a cup of coffee on the gorgeous lanai, or gazing out all of the beautiful windows!
Awesome property and house! Highlight of our trip to the island of Hawaii. Breathtaking views from the lanai and Volcano suite windows. 10/10. Definitely one of the best vrbo experiences we have had.
