The Maui Sunset is located on over 5 acres of oceanfront at Kihei which is considered one of the best locations on the Valley Isle. Kihei is noted for its year round sunshine, balmy trade winds, and soothing evening air. It is one of the driest and sunniest areas on the entire island, averaging only 10 inches a year! World famous swimming and snorkeling beaches are minutes away at+E3 one of the many sandy safe beaches at Kihei and nearby Wailea. Just a short distance (6 miles) from five championship 18 hole resort golf courses at Wailea and Makena. The two buildings frame and protect a large recreational area that is carefully attended and landscaped. The 60 foot swimming pool with its broad decks and abundance of pool furniture invites you to improve on your tan.

This is a great two bedroom apartment with two additional foldable beds in the living room. The balcony overlooks the pool and you can also see a bit of the ocean, which is just a few hundred feet away walking. The apartment provides a lot of nice extras, like several foldable beach chairs, beach towels, couple of ice coolers and a couple of beach umbrellas. Would recommend.

There are crosswalks and we walked it several times. You will need a car to get around the island and it is only about 15 miles to the main harbor where all the happenings are. We enjoyed watching the sunset every night. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, cookware and utensils. We would definitely stay here again.
