My vacation rental was great until a bird got in my condo for hours and I had to clean up the bird mess.I even had the maintenance man come and he said the bird was gone. hours later it flew out from under the couch. I would hate to see what is under there.

Spent a great 4th of July holiday at the Maui Sunset. Our unit was perfect for a family of 5. We had a fantastic view of the ocean from our balcony and was close to the swimming pool, tennis courts and shuffle board. Will definitely visit again!

We are from Wailuku, HI, and we chose Maui Sunset Vacation Rentals for a “Stay Vacation”, while our home was being renovated. We always choose “Maui Sunset”as a “home away from home”. The units are nice, the grounds are beautiful and well maintained, there is security around the clock and the staff is always very helpful. We highly recommend “Maui Sunset Vacation Rentals” when planning your vacation on Mau.A321 is a beautiful unit, with awesome view of the ocean and the grounds; however the living room furniture needs to be replace. Sofa’s and chair’s are very uncomfortable and broken down.The Mstr. toilet/shower room is very small. Outside of that we loved A321 and would book it again.

This was our 3rd stay at Maui Sunset and we were very disappointed with the unit this time. It was clean on the surface but floors and carpets were dirty area rug in living room was dirty and a trip hazard with the edges turning up. We requested maintenance on a sliding glass door screen and never received a reply or repair. Some sort of response should have taken place. All the TV's did not work properly. The one in the main area would not turn on with the Spectrum remote as was posted on the remote. When we did get it turned on there was no way to control the volume to hear anything. The dust behind the TV and furniture was terrible. The screen to the lanai would constantly come off the track and we had to fix it ourselves. It needs a DEEP cleaning. For the amount we paid for this visit we expected conditions much better than this. We paid a cleaning fee as well as the prior renters so there is no reason this unit was not thoroughly cleaned. This stay did not compare with prior visits. We love the location but were unhappy with the unit. With this experience we could not recommend Maui Sunset to our friends.

This truly is the perfect place to stay. Stunning views off of the lanai. Beautiful resort, extremely relaxing. Great to have a full kitchen, comfortable beds, washer/ dryer is icing on the cake! And did I mention the views from the deck? We will 100% be back booking the condo. The only drawback is the automatic shut offs of the air conditioning units. I totally understand the need to conserve electricity and not keep them running. But waking up in the middle of the night today warm and sticky bedroom to turn the air conditioning back on was a drive back, but would not stop us from coming back. Closet full of all the things you need for the beach, chairs, coolers, children’s beach toys, even some spare water, shoes and sunscreens left by previous tenants. In case you forgot, something....You won’t be disappointed.

The view from the Lanai was worth every penny. We spent a lot of time out there enjoying the weather and the view.Location is perfect for walking over to the 8 pickleball courts and playing every morning.Only negative is the bathrooms are really small.
Beautiful view off the lanai and a nice unit. Management was very friendly, overall a good place to stay in the middle of Kihei.
