    This was our first time on Kauai and we absolutely loved it. The venue was wonderful; walking distance to the beach, groceries, coffee, restaurants, and bars. The property is beautiful and the grounds are well kept. The room had ample space for my husband and me. I have to say that the room is in need of some updating. One bed had stained sheets (or were they dirty), the bathroom trash can is rusty, the shower head would not stay put (sliding down the adjustable bar), and the mattresses flimsy with some sort of metal bar (?) on the edges. All of these aren’t terrible considering we didn’t spend a lot of time in the room but if you’re looking for something a bit nicer, this might not be the place for you.

    I was having trouble faxing the lease. Called the property manager that you gave me and she no longer works there, she forwarded me to the housekeeping manager who could not help. Poor communication but great property.

    It`s bare bones as in, there is no room cleaning or towel replacement unless you pay a small fee. Which was fine, we knew that going in, for the price it was worth it. We hardly spent much time in the room anyway. The unit is clean, has a nice patio and the beach is close by although a bit rocky and not really a beach you`d want to hang out at everyday. The location of this unit is great, right next to cocunut market place which has an islant market ( owned by abc stores ) and food places ( bbq, thai, shaved ice etc.. ) I would recommend a small little place there named Sleeping Giant. It`s also close to lydgate pools park which is awesome. They basically created a giant pool in the ocean by blocking the waves using a bunch of rocks. Lots of fish so great snorkling in very calm waters. Great if you have kids. I would highly recommend this spot instead of the local beach.     This was a great place to stay, the price was good, the vibe was pretty cool, cleanliness and staff were on point, location was pretty convenient and it was awesome it had access to a pool and jacuzzi and that it was walking distance from the beach.
