They say location is everything and this was no exception. Steps from the sand, a view of the beach/ocean from the patio, beach chairs, MORE than enough beach towels, a little ice chest for our outings, tons of storage space for clothes and items, an amazing welcome gift of snacks with the best pineapple we have ever had (and one of our party lived on Oahu for 3 years), beautiful gardens, strong reliable wifi, and I’m sure I’m missing something. Half of our party is always freezing, the other half is always hot, this room would have satisfied Goldilocks. We set the air conditioner when we arrived and didn’t have to adjust it once. We are already looking for a booking to go back next year and plan to stay at the Islander on the Beach. ** We were given 3/4 a roll of toilet paper and were told we’d have to buy our own if we needed more, odd but no reason to take any stars off.

We loved the location of this resort. We wish the bar at the pool was open earlier than 3 pm. They need more lounges at the pool. The room was damp all the time and smelled musty. The a/c didn’t really work :(

Great Location!! Unfortunately the mattress (closest to kitchenette) really needs to be replaced - it dips terribly. And there’s a bad musty-mildew smell the whole time we were there (ran AC and opened door for fresh air - but it really needs fans/dehumidifier)

Great place to stay! The room is pretty standard. Beds could be a little more comfortable but we slept well! Kitchen is small but had what we needed. One of the fridges was not working. There was a ln electric griddle that we used once but everything was great. The ground level is nice because you can walk out and play on the lawn and walk to the beach and pool easily. Pool and spa are nice! Beach is pretty but we did not swim in front of the property. We were told it is reef. We enjoyed our stay This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.
