This large two bedroom one bath condo has a view that is nothing short of spectacular! This unit is in a low density property on the second floor of a 2 story building. The lanai runs the length of the condo and directly faces the water! It's as close as you will find to the shore any where on Maui! The view spans the Au'au channel and encompasses a view of the island of Molokai and the north side of the island of Lanai. You will see turtles lunching on seaweed off the reef any time of the year, and if your stay is in the winter, between mid-November to mid-April you will be treated to the show the humpback whales put on while teaching their newborns to swim!
Maui Sands is one of the first resorts built on Maui. The grounds are lush and tropical with mature plantings, ranging from mango to banana to hibiscus and plumeria. It sits in the local neighborhood of Honokowai, the kind of neighborhood where people wave and say "Aloha!" when passing on the street!
You will be able to enjoy these amenities with this unit:
*Both a 40" TV in the living area, and a 32" in the master bedroom.
*Beach towels, chairs, coolers and some beach toys.

*A large and well maintained shared pool.
*Free assigned off-street parking for one vehicle. Please note not suitable for wider vehicles.
*Within walking distance of a large grocery store, a farmers market, the local park with a playground, many eateries and a food truck park.
*Within walking distance of some of Maui's most beautiful beaches!
We take your safety and well-being seriously. We have a comprehensive cleaning and sanitizing program for this property. Our cleaning service and staff are spending as much time as necessary to make sure that all areas of your rental are thoroughly cleaned before you check in.
We ask you to plan ahead as we may not be able to allow early check ins and late check outs as often as we would like.
Please note, this is a second floor unit in a 2 story building. We do feel this unit is not really suitable for children under 10 years old. If you are booking with children, we require "indoor feet" at all times from all our guests, no matter their age. :)...

The unit was older and a little rough around the edges, but the view made up for the older property. There were beach chairs, umbrella, beach towels, that we used daily. The water was rough and cloudy the entire week, so swimming and snorkeling were not great, but there are lots of great beaches within a ten minute drive that we discovered. This was our first time staying in a condo in Maui vs a resort, and I much preferred the extra space in the condo. Though we were missing the resort ambience.
