This condo exceeded our expectations on every level. This was our young grandsons first trip to Hawaii and our family was comfortable with plenty of space for everyone. Kahana Sunset has an excellent swimming beach that the kids loved. Bananas, lemons and papayas are growing on the property along with other lush vegetation making our Hawaiian experience one to remember. We will definitely choose Condo B2 for our next visit to Maui.
This is one of the absolute best VRBO properties we have ever stayed at. We were not lacking anything in our condo. There was even more provided than I would’ve expected. The property was quiet very well maintained. We’re talking about coming again next year and I would stay here again.
Overall great but guest bedroom AC wasnt working so was abit uncomfortable the whole time. Someone came and fixed it once but still didnt work
The condo is a 10/10 experience and the location could not be better. We have stayed at Kahana Sunset condos before, but this was the most updated and cleanest one yet. We loved seeing turtles daily.Our complaint lies with iTrip Maui (not the condo owner), who be mostly unresponsive to this day. From check-in to check out (6 nights), we were only able to speak with a rep from there twice after calling their office multiple times per day. Both the master bedroom shower and the fridge/freezer were broken the entire stay and iTrip was unresponsive to help. Eventually, on day 3 of our stay, they provided a mini fridge to supplement the loss of the unit one and let us know they would not be fixing the shower at all.With part of the reason for renting a condo being the ability to make our own meals, no fridge/freezer use for three days set us back on meals and on spoiled groceries that went bad before we realized the fridge was broken. iTrip has said they will be refunding us for some of the costs of the trip, but we have yet to see any communication on what it is and when it will be refunded. Overall, a lovely place and would recommend the unit to others, but iTrip Maui needs to be more responsive and communicative with renters.

We had a wonderful time staying at Kahana Sunset. Loved hearing the waves crash from the bedroom and seeing views of the sunsets from the lanai. Beds were very comfortable for our family of four. The pool was perfect and the grounds staff were all so friendly. We hope to be back !
Check in was easy as we arrived very late at night. The condo was clean and ready for us. The views from both lanais was amazing. Watched the whales from the lanai. We enjoyed many breakfasts and suppers on the lanai. The close proximity of the bbq's made supper an easy task.The kitchen was well equipped for our use. Maybe the only thing missing was a cookie sheet or tray to carry our food on to the bbq's. Other than that it was perfect for our needs.The beds were comfy. Even the hide-a-bed in the living room. Bathrooms were well equipped with lots of towels and beach towels for us to use. Overall, I would recommend staying here. Other than a problem with one of the air conditioners, which was resolved quickly, the unit is ideal for a family of any size and age with spectacular views. Thank you for allowing us to spend our short time in paradise.
We loved this property. The accommodations were very clean and met all of our needs. We loved the property as well. Our kids loved the pool and being so close to a beach. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay as a family of 5! The location was great- and the property was quiet given it was over Thanksgiving week. The property had almost everything we needed to make ourselves and home and we had plenty of room to spread out. The host was awesome and quick to respond with any questions we had!
We will definitely book again!
Unit was very clean with new amenities. The kitchen was extremely well equipped. The only thing missing was a griddle pan and If I would have found one at the Napili Market, it would have had one. Everything else was there without want.
Our family had the best time at Kahana Sunset and were especially impressed with our stay in B2. We traveled with two other families who stayed in other B units, so we had good points of comparison and were so glad we chose B2! It had a well stocked kitchen, very comfortable beds, great showers and a surprising amount of separation between bedrooms! Our two young daughters loved eating at the kitchen peninsula every morning and being close proximity to the pool was a huge win for them. We loved all the features at Kahana Sunset as well—very clean, family friendly & peaceful. Loved all of our sunset dinners with our friends & with the Kahana Sunset community that came out each night also.
The only small negatives for us were the AC (you really have to stay on top of turning on the unit in the primary bedroom & living room, otherwise it can be a little warm) and the oven, which is *very* small, and cooks quite unevenly, so don’t plan on making baked goods the center of any meal!
But neither of those things would give us pause in saying that this place is *fantastic* and we will definitely be returning to B2!
Perfect home away from home. We had everything we needed to prepare meals in the kitchen or down at the bbq. Relaxing, reading and having our morning coffee or evening cocktails on either balcony was amazing. The sounds of the ocean from our master suite was a true joy. This was our 4th time staying at Kahana Sunset and can easily say this has been our favorite unit.
