Hanalei Colony Resort K4 is part of a romantic beachfront resort on a secluded beach. These Hanalei vacation rentals are north shore Kauai's only true beachfront resort. This completely upgraded ocean view unit is only moments to the sand through beautifully manicured tropical grounds.

This recently updated unit provides two bedrooms (or one bedroom and dedicated work space) and two full bathrooms. The master bedroom is furnished with a king size bed. For privacy, it can be closed off from the rest of the unit with sliding shoji screens which still allow air flow to keep you cool at night. A second bedroom is furnished with a twin size day bed, and a twin air mattress, giving you the option to sleep two children. You can use the room as a living area or office space if it's a working vacation for two. It also has sliding shoji screens for visual privacy. The living and dining areas are comfortably furnished and there are unobstructed ocean views from your private lanai.
You won't mind cooking in the cozy full kitchen which includes everything you need for simple meal preparation.

In addition to Hanalei Colony Resort K4's welcoming interior and views, and the beach just in front, the location offers additional amenities for guests to enjoy including swimming pool, jacuzzi, barbecue grills, and guest laundry room. Walk next door to the Opakapaka Bar and Grill or across the parking lot to the Hanalei Day Spa. Just a few minutes past the charming town of Hanalei, you'll find that shopping and dining options are conveniently close. As with most homes on Kauai, this vacation rental is NOT air conditioned.

Location gorgeous. Beach private and wonderful. Pool area very nice. Buildings poorly marked. Cleanliness could be improved. No shampoo, minimal soap provided. Bed pillows are broken down and need to be replaced.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I did not partiulcarly like being warned about the $250 cleaning depositing. No one ever contacted me.Went to he office on property and was told they didntthey didnt hand that property. No TV. Was told to wash the dishes...what the **** was I paying @250 for????? There wasnt even a dish rach there to drythe dishes. No sponge to wash with. O e dish towel. No umbrella but buggie boards and snorkels but no umbrella for their older clients. No one to help get your things to you room and up the stairs. I am 88 years old!!!!

The units are older & hard to keep up with the conditions, but we knew what to expect as we have stayed here many times before. The sink & bathtub drain in the front bathroom are very slow. The lanai doors are very hard to slide open. The unit could use a kitchen sheers, ice bucket, pizza cutter, pitcher & a strainer. Also it would be great to use the resort shuttle! Mahalo

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was nice, very quiet. It would be an awesome place to stay with a little better weather. During the rainy/windy season it isn’t ideal. The bed needs replaced it has a sink hole in the middle. It could use some updates as well as cleaned really well. The unity had built up dust (especially lamps, top of fridge etc.) and we didn’t even cook in the kitchen because it was just kind of gross. Maybe just a plumbing issue but the drains didn’t work well nor did the toilets.

Pillows are terrible - super spongy. One of the toilets had trouble flushing. Kitchen and bathrooms were not as clean as they should be. Kitchen appliances (i.e. fridge and stove) were rusted and needed cleaning. Good kitchen supplies including dishes and pots/pans. Easy check in and check out.
