    The comfortable king-sized bed sits atop a custom-built platform loaded with storage space to fit your needs. The bedroom area is equipped with an A/C unit, ceiling fan and 42" flat screen smart TV. Please note: pictures were taken before the new TV was installed. Step out onto the private lanai with seating for two and enjoy the tropical air.

    The kitchen has been upgraded with elegant granite counter tops and comes equipped with a full-sized refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, cooking utensils, dishes and more.

    This unit also has an adjoining unit next door if you are traveling with family or friends. Please inquire for more information if you would like to book both units.

    The Kona Islander Inn opens up directly onto Alii Drive and the heart of downtown Kona. You'll be within walking distance to all of the restaurants, shopping and more. As a guest at the Kona Islander Inn, you will have access to the complex amenities including the pool, hot tub and BBQ grills. There are coin-operated laundry machines on-site with a vending machine to get quarters. The inn is also located less than 10 miles from Kona International Airport and Kona Community Hospital.     The property was central to a number of activities and great restaurants. Clean and well appointed. Parking is an issue. Wish that could be resolved especially for elderly and family guests where walking distances with all your gear is more than some can handle

    Perfect location and convenience to town. Apartment is perfect for 2 and very much enjoyed our balcony for morning coffee and sunsets. Hope to return.

    The property was adequate but dated. The air conditioner is old and very loud and noisy. Poor instructions for the TV. Not enough parking off the road. The bed was very comfortable, lots of towels and beach towels. Nice pool and area. The property is with in walking distance of restaurants and shops as well as local beaches which is great.

    This was my second stay at the Kona Islander and both times it served my needs perfectly. Ideal locatio. This unit was very nicely appointed; it had everything I needed. I was particularly impressed with the cabinetry. Will definitely be back
