The property is well located with access to walk to local shopping, beachfront to take in the amazing sunsets, with the property offering above average comfort with photos that described it to a T. Wendi is fantastic, and will share her contact for everything Maui. Mahalo

The condo is very roomy-it was just me and my sister in law. The beds were wonderful- a queen and a king. We loved the decor- all rattan furniture and Hawaiian art all over. The fabric on the chairs and couch could use a little updating but they were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we could possibly want to cook with or eat on. There was a nice stock of spices which we used. The cabinet doors should be replaced because the veneer is peeling off on all of them but other than that, it was the nicest condo I’ve ever stayed in.The pool was fantastic! We would definitely come back.

Maui Sunset is a great location! 218B is a bit dated and in need of maintenance and cleaning. Property managers and check-in/out were great.

The place was clean and nice, and the property is beautiful and well taken care of. The only down side is you can’t really walk to any shops and you need to drive everywhere (but since you have a car, it’s not that bad and shops are a close driving distance). We loved having the big grass area and walking along the beach. Plus the pool is awesome! The unit has everything you need :)

I know Kihei isn't the premier area to stay on Maui, but this property looked nice so we gave it a shot for the first half of our Maui vacation. Kehei has proximity to lots of South Maui activities, after all, and the better beaches near Wailea are a short drive, so why not?
I got a bit concerned as we got close to the property (Maui Sunset) because the neighborhood is a bit "gritty" and the actual condo buildings are a little dated from the outside. HOWEVER, we were treated very nicely by the check-in staff and once we set foot into our condo we were delighted! Our unit was very clean, well laid-out, and comfortable. It has a nice lanai and view of the swimming pool, park-like setting, and the beach/bay. We enjoyed the pool, shuffleboard, strolling across the grass to the beach to watch the sunset, and more. The kitchen was reasonably well appointed and the beds were comfortable. Bottom line: this property is a great value and we'd certainly recommend it to families and friends.
