Welcome to this charming unit in the heart of South Kihei just steps away from the famous Kamaole Beach Parks. Our unit is easily accessible by elevator, this top-floor unit offers both privacy and stunning views of Haleakala and the ocean from the lanai.

Enjoy your solitude with a private entrance and a private lanai which offers views of not only the ocean and Molokini Crater, but also the beautiful slopes of Haleakala Volcano. This unit includes free high speed Wi-fi, HD cable television, air conditioning, an Amazon Alexa Echo Dot, a USB charging station, a king sized bed, full bathroom with shower, microwave, mini-fridge, a Keurig coffee-maker and complimentary coffee bar. Please Take Note: there is not an actual "kitchen", there is a microwave, mini-fridge, a Keurig coffee-maker and complimentary coffee bar. We also provide beach towels, chairs, a cooler and a beach umbrella! Everything you need for you Maui getaway!

The Maui Banyan complex is landscaped with lush tropical greenery and is conveniently located within walking distance of many restaurants, shops, beaches, parks. Many golf courses are just a short drive away. At the beaches you can enjoy many recreational activities such as swimming, snorkeling, sailing, whale watching, surfing, paddle-boarding, kayaking, and more! There are many special amenities within the complex including two pools, two Jacuzzi's, BBQ and picnic areas, and tennis court.

Parking is free; Maui Banyan office provides required guest parking pass.

Travel Insurance – Please look into this as your first line of defense, as it limits losses for both parties in this difficult time. All of the major booking sites offer trip insurance and you can purchase this protection directly at time of booking. Also, many credit cards do offer some sort of travel reimbursement as terms of their program, please check with your credit card company as well, should you chose not to protect your trip with the site you are booking this reservation with.

The room looks like the photos and is part of a large complex directly across but back from the beach. It is small and clean with a comfy king sized bed. The unit is toward the back of the complex and has an elevator. It has a window air conditioner as most do and tastefully decorated. As indicated in the description, there is no kitchenette nor plates, cutlery, toiletries or glasses. Our complaint was that, we chose the room based upon the description stating it was a “top floor, private END unit with oceanview”. Unfortunately this is NOT the case. It isn’t an end unit and has neighbors both sides This is the reason we chose this room. The room faces inland and to see the ocean you must go to the patio , and look over the actual end unit , through the complex and trees to get a look at the ocean. Another issue is the parking. There is assigned parking for the owners but only about 15 other spots for the guests. There is no overnight parking nearby and we paid to rent a car and ended up having to Uber because we couldn’t get a spot after around 10 in the morning. The owner is quite sweet and the management company very responsive. We left after one night as it wasn’t the room that was described.

It was like staying at a Motel 6 without any amenities

We had to carry our large bag og garbage a long way to the disposal bin. It was hard on mobility impaired seniors.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay at the Maui Banyan. I have been to Maui many times and only stay at the Banyan. All the foliage was beautiful and in full bloom. They work very hard to make the grounds look beautiful. The pools are very clean and even had brand new furniture arrive for around the pools. Both pools have spotless BBQs or grills for grilling a perfect steak. It’s a convenient location because it’s directly across the street from a beautiful beach with turtles. There are restaurants and rental equipment places close by. The unit is on the top floor so that’s nice. There was a quick response when I asked for a drip coffee machine instead of the keurig. There were 2 beach chairs and towels and a beach umbrella and a small cooler. We bought two pool noodles and left them for future guests to enjoy. Mahalo

Accurate to the description, this condo is nicely situated in Kihei. We certainly would have preferred more of an ocean view, but the gardens are better than looking at a parking lot or other buildings. The management company was prompt in responding to our inquiries.

The online discrimination and pictures is just as it appeared. We stayed for 3 weeks and enjoyed every minute. Talk to the management team twice, once when the network setup didn’t work and the other was to get more towels. They managed to fulfill both requests in a very timely manner. We both recommend this studio condo and would not hesitate to book this property again. Thank you for a great time.

The property manager, Valley Isle Properties, was great in their communication before and during our stay. The room was clean and well appointed (including beach chairs and towels). View was pretty and as represented on website. We felt the room and balcony were smaller than the photos indicated. The balcony table and chairs placement is very tight and only one person can enjoy the view at a time. The resort grounds and 2 pools were well maintained.
